I naturally have thick, course hair and have spent over 2 decades trying to get rid of it. I've tried most every product and professional service out there, but this was my first at-home laser. With professional laser hair removal I have reduced the thickness of my hair, but the place I went to closed down and I can't afford more treatments, and I still have to shave daily. I bought the Me Chic in hopes of getting rid of the hair once and for all.So far I have had similar results to when I have done professional laser hair removal. I have been using it for 3 weeks and completed my fourth weekly treatment today. As recommended in the directions, I have conducted treatments on my face more often (2-3 times a week). Overall, there is a noticeable reduction in the amount of hair, as well as thinning of the hair that still grows and significant slowing of regrowth. After last week's treatment I would not have even needed to shave my legs today except to ensure I had absolutely no hair on them for this week's treatment. I'm very happy with the results so far and think this product is definitely worth the money!Pros:-it is for all skin and hair types. I have light/medium skin and mostly dark hair, but have found that the Me Chic works on my peach fuzz, which had no response to professional laser treatments-It is easy to use (just read the directions first!)-No pain! I feel a warm sensation only, and maybe a light snap in sensitive areas (underarms, bikini line) but nothing as bad as previous lasers. And no burns like I've had with waxing, professional lasers, and the No!No!-Fast results. I feel like I am getting similar results as professional LHR with each treatment, but with only 1 week between treatments rather than 6-8.Cons:-It takes FOREVER to compete treatments on the high setting. Each pulse is about 4 seconds apart on high, and if you are being thorough, that can take quite a while for full legs.-The pulse will not activate if the window is not flush against the skin, so it can take a few adjustments to get the placement right on areas like knees and ankles.-This device has a limited number of pulses, at which point it becomes garbage; it would be nice to be able to get replacement cartridges like some of the competitors have, although I'm hoping the 120,000 pulses lasts a long time.-The directions misleadingly state that you can conduct normal hair removal (waxing, tweezing) before treatments. My understanding is that this type of technology works by affecting the hair folicles, so I am pretty sure you need to shave to ensure the follicle remains below the skin. Other parts of the directions seem poorly written as well.Overall, I would have given this 5 stars for my results alone, but it lost a star for having poorly written directions and being quite a chore to use on large areas of the body.I will update when I compete the second half of my treatments.

I am amazed but it does seem to be working! I noticed after about a week the hair was less. Now it's been about a month or so and definitely slowed growth where there is still growth but it's sooooo manageable. Nearing menopause and the facial hair growth was crazy! Even if it doesn't get completely to nothing what it has done is so worth it!

I have dark skin with dark coarse facial and chest hair. After three weeks of treatment I have seen little results. Easy to use and relatively painless. Still hoping though.

I purchased this with high hopes for use on the chin hairs. I am blond and It DOES NOT WORK ON BLOND hairs. I used it twice a week for the seven week period and saw no results. I would like to return it!

Adjust the power to your tolerance tolerate more for faster results If you want results get a routine of using it Delivers period fixed a problem I had for so longgg it’s a thing of the past

Used as instructed religiously...even at the slower highest setting .. completely wasted of my time . Gave up after 7 weeks with no benefit what so ever

This machine is a little awkward to use, and I think it works; however, I need to give it more time and be more patient with it. I have fine, blonde hair and I am still working with it to see how well it works. More to come in an updated review...
