Excellent price and they sync perfectly with the ADT-provided L7000
Excellent price and they sync perfectly with the ADT-provided L7000 . No need to call them and you can install yourself unless you have Pulse. They have to manually add the sensors in that case for them to show up in the app. The home unit however recognizes them just fine and you can bypass any extra installation costs by doing it yourself. Pretty easy and worked the first time around.

Honeywell 5815 - a worthy wireless sensor
I purchased 2 of these for use with a Vista 20P Ademco Vista 20p alarm system. The box included the sensor and the magnet. It took me a while to figure out how to program this into the Vista system, because the sensor has 4 loops. Each loop has to be programmed into a separate channel. Loop 2 is closed/secure, loop 4 is open/alarm. Loop 1 (closed) and loop 3 (open) are assigned to the external wired sensor. Yes, this wireless sensor has 2 contacts for wiring 1 or more additional magnetic wired sensors such as this Ademco 945WH Honeywell 945WH Surface Mount Magnetic Contact w/ Leads in parallel. With one of these, in combination with a few cheap wired sensors you could protect a large window with multiple "doors" or multiple windows that are close by. This great feature is not mentioned anywhere on Amazon, but it is listed in the small pamphlet.I have been arming the alarm every night, and so far the sensors have functioned properly. Battery life is estimated at 1-2 years, depending on use. When the alarm system is off the sensor only checks back with the Vista base every X minutes to conserve battery. The sensor is small enough to fit and blend in with the white vinyl windows. I will post an update if there is a problem, but so far so good.~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~Update 1 November 2013I added Honeywell Ademco 5816WMWH White Door / Window Transmitter w/ Magnet to the alarm system to protect some doors. These sensors are bigger in size, but less in cost. I used them in 2 garage doors, so size was not a big deal. The original sensors continue working, same original battery from almost 2 years ago, and the system being armed every night. So far no issues.~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~I made a guide how to program this FR transmitter, it is not definite, but should get you in the right directionHOW TO PROGRAM AN RF TRANSMITTER TO ADEMCO VISTA 20PEnter programming mode: Enter Installer code (x-x-x-x) + 8 0 0.Note1: Default installer code is 4-1-1-2 in case you don't knowNote2: Always exit programming using *99Press [∗] + [Field Number] (for example, ∗56)56 - Zone Programming - Use this menu mode to program zone informationNote: A display of "EE"or "Entry Error"means you have entered a nonexistent field. Value for money
I bought this based on our alarm companies suggestion since this model works with our main panel. It’s been 3 years now and running with out any issue.
