As described. Soft metal
As described, fairly soft metal and when I bent them a bit to accommodate a 2006-2013 Impala, the coating chipped and the surface rusted within 2 days of driving so the metal isn’t high quality but they work. They wobble a bit with a windshield light bar (side to side).

Don’t fit at all
Does not fit a 2005 Avalanche what so ever .. I had to practically straighten the bracket out completely to even get close.

Install was simply the brackets are very sturdy. When installed they fit perfectly in the top door edge and held right. They give the light bar a much more sleek look
