Clearasil Tinted Cream, 1 Ounce

Missing the TINTED version. Works overnight.

I ended up buying a tube of the Clearasil tinted cream here for it was surprisingly hard to find in stores locally. Acne ointments, and the attitude of people that use them, have evidently changed since my time of being a teenager. Just about all there was back then was a cream that hid the zits while it worked. The only teenagers that I knew that opted for the vanishing variety were big and tough enough that they didn't have to worry about being teased. A scan of the shelves in several stores here found me not finding a single brand that was flesh tinted. So I came to Amazon to relive the nostalgia of my youth since I found myself breaking out lately due to a new found exercise routine causing a lot of sweating. The bottom line is the Clearasil worked perfectly by getting rid of all the blemishes present in a matter of 3 days. And all the while hiding them effectively like old times. Clearasil is right in declaring their ointment having the largest concentration of benzoyl peroxide without a prescription. I wasn't able to find any others that came close to the 10% in Clearasil. It very well could be that a much milder or not so strong scented formula of acne med could have done the job just as easily on my problem. I wasn't exactly being called pepperoni face. However if you are, and you're not a big tough guy, (or one to just think its not fashionable to expose your zits to your peers while you're treating them) I recommend the Clearasil tinted cream very much. Its fast, very effective, and as noted can be rubbed in to hide the problem until they're gone....

I have read some REALLY bad reviews about any Clearasil "tinted" products, that is SO hard to find in local stores. YES it is "orangey" to say the least BUT then again, so is Donald Trump.It is still the same color it has ALWAYS been and works just like I remembered it, so if you don't mind the having a very light orange "Chester Cheeto" colored dab on your face, then its bye bye zit.The bottom line is IF you have a fair or moderate skin complexion, then the "color" will not matter that much. You just dab it onto your zits and NOT douse the zit to kingdom come. :)The price was good and the shipping right on time. GREAT seller as far as I am concerned.

It really is very red. It's a very effective product, I've been using it since I was a teenager, and I knew the tinting was much darker than my skin, so I thought the other reviewers must be overreacting about the degree of tinting. Until I received it that is. They have apparently changed the formula since my last purchase (years and years ago since it lasts a while), and it is now RED rather than a dark tan. Think the color of red clay down south (or a rusty pipe). Still, if you rub it in well and then wipe off the excess, it shouldn't be too obvious. It is just as effective as it ever was, but I do wonder why the color has changed so dramatically.

About a year ago my 15 year old granddaughter and grandson were breaking out like most teenagers. Asking the moms what they were using one was on Proactive and the other on some cheap OTC off brand. I'm sure Proactive is a fine product but if they don't follow the regiment it can't work.I told them to buy some good old Clearasil like I used 40 years ago. The mom's informed me they couldn't find any in the stores. So ordered 2 tubes and gave one each to the grands. With the instructions to carry it with them and use it through out the day. Well I get a text awhile back begging for some more. A little tube goes a looooong way.Once the zits are gone use slows down.I love showing the young ones that something from my youth is still relevant. Who would have guessed it would be pimple cream ? :o)

Great; need more of the same but can’t find it

Not as good as the Oxy cover up product, but since that has been discontinued what choice do you have. This product gets the job done, but it's pretty easy to accidentally use too much. You may find yourself recovering certain areas so it's not so obvious that you are using cover up....especially for guys.Used for some razor burn and minor pimples or red areas, this product is just fine. No bad odor, but I do think it will bleach your clothes just like the Oxy version.

I have this product all over my house. One in my dressing room. One in my den. One in my washroom. One in my kitchen. It is amazing. If you sense a small or big pimple coming, just put it on before you go to bed or leave the house and it will be gone with hours. It kills and destorys and it doesn't come back. Sometimes, I get cold sores. I just put alittle on and it is gone wihtin hours. I use the tinted one so it blends in with my skin tone.
