Pilot Mic Aviation Microphone Attachment. Compatible with Bose or Sony Headphones (3.5 mm Plug (Compatible with Sony XM3))

Originally I was super excited about this product. And aside from the lack of instructions I was able to make it work. But since that time I have not received ANY RESPONSE to me my requests.Within an hour of usage I realized that the volume controls didn't work. The collector unit that has the volume controls has only allows for the use of "mono" or "stereo", in other words, one ear or the both ears, and the volume control doesn't do a thing. The volume is therefor set on it's highest setting. i actually have to turn off the noise cancelling feature of my headset so as to NOT blow out my eardrums.I sent them a message a month ago and have still not heard a single thing.If they would respond and rectify the situation I would give them a 4 star rating, but currently they deserve a 0.I was super excited to receive this mic attachment and use my Bose Headset for aviation. I had trouble figuring out how to attach the mic because there are two magnets, 3 pieces of red colored 3M tape circles, 2 pieces of black colored 3M tape circles, and some crazy glue, but no instructions came in mine.After I sent a message I received a response almost immediately that was a little confusing but allowed me to figure it out. I was finally able, after a lot of wrestling with the 3M tape circles to get the covering off the two sided tape and get it attached to both my headset and the magnets. I have it attached now and it works great.Sound quality if good, it's comfortable, and I am very pleased.I am only giving 4 stars because there weren't good instructions on how to apply and attach the mic and attachment. I would buy again and I highly recommend this product.I will follow up during the year to report on the the longer term performance.thanks
