Not the best tent in the world, but very spacious. Great Value
A couple of complaints I saw for this tent in the reviews had to do with the zippers. Another complaint is titled "sleeps 4-5 KIDS, maybe" suggesting that this is not a big tent. The zipper issue is understandable, although I have no real complaints with the zippers. Actually, I was surprised by how well they did slide given others reviews. You just have to be careful to not run the zipper over the cloth and to not try to force it if it does get stuck. I have only used this tent once so far, so maybe there will be issues down the line, but honestly these zippers are fine. As for the space issue, 'C'mon man.' This tent is fricken huge. Not only is it fricken huge, it says right in the items title that it is 8x10 feet (pretty fricken huge to me) This tent will comfortably house four average-build adults, No problem. 5 is a bit of a stretch, but if you sleep 4 one way with the 5th at everyone's feet, it could be done. There would not be a lot of room left over for gear, though. For two people, this is practically the Taj Mahal. The quality of the materials is clearly not as good as a tent that would sell for $100-200 more. With that said, I have to say that I would not expect this tent to last as long as a more expensive tent, but it does come with a 10 year warranty. For just under $60, this tent provides a great room that can be set up anywhere. I feel like even if I only got 5 or 10 uses out of it that it will have more than paid for itself, but I expect it to last much longer than that. The tent sets up simple enough. It is not a "pop style" or a "one step setup" type of tent. I could say more, but that's all there is to it. Its not hard to set up for a 2 pole set-up. If youve never set up a tent before, the basic instructions are all you need, but a little bit of thinking and a good brain should be able to get it done without them. I do not have a lot to say for how this tent stands up to different kinds of weather. It was not even rattled in the slightest by a small-moderate breeze. It insulated reasonably well on a 35 degree night. I would put the operational range of use on this tent at about 20ยฐF-100ยฐF and up to 25-30mph winds if set up correctly (this is by no means a scientific estimate). I could not say what a 40mph gust might do though. Not for the hardcore, but plenty fine for good weather campers I'd say.

Amazing value
I purchased the Wenzel Pine Ridge four-to-five person tent just before a last-minute weekend camping trip in April. Not having time to do much research, I decided to order this particular tent because it was so inexpensive. I figured I didn't have much to lose, and could look for another tent for the summer when I returned home. At a price of around $60 for this size of tent, I fully expected it to be a piece of junk. I was very pleasantly surprised. The quality was just as good or better than tents I've had in the past that were much more expensive. It was easy to set up and roomy. We comfortably fit two adults on a double-size air mattress, along with an adult golden retriever and a couple duffle bags, with some room to spare. (That said, getting five adults into it would be a stretch, unless they were lined up like sardines in a can.) I've seen some reviewers mention a problem with the zippers on the door. While I can see their point, it seems to me to be overstated. I got the orange zip-flap stuck in the zipper once and had no problem un-sticking it. The zippers worked just fine after I realized why the flap got stuck and adjusted the way I used the zippers. This tent is an amazing value, and I definitely recommend it. (Caveats: I've only taken the tent on two trips so far, so can't comment on how well it lasts, but it seems sturdy for a tent made of relatively lightweight material. Also, we had nice weather on both trips, so I can't comment on how the tent would do in wind and rain. Seems like it would do fine, especially if it was sprayed with some seam sealer.)

Good for the price; time will tell
Just received this tent yesterday; my husband (who has experience erecting dome tents) was able to put it up alone. I have tent camped since I was a small child, am now >50 and am no stranger to tents. This is a decent tent for the money. The Pros: Easy set up Excellent "bath tub" bottom which is weld seamed ......... the bottom is polyethylene which is much more durable than nylon taffeta which is very commonly used. The bath tub style bottom comes up about 4" from the bottom, wrapping along all sides of the tent. It is not sewn .......... it is "welded" somehow (hot pressed glue perhaps?); there are no thread seams on the bottom edges of the tent - very important if it rains! (" The sonic-sealed, polyethylene tub-style floor, meanwhile, is welded and not sewn, eliminating needle holes that might otherwise attract water seepage.") This was the primary reason I purchased this tent, other than the reasonable price. Center height is 60" as stated which is excellent for a dome tent of this size and the other main reason I purchased this particular tent. Nice green/gray color which blends in with a "woodsy" environment. Excellent ventilation for summer camping. The Cons: The zipper does take 2 hands. The "design defect" that one or more reviewers alluded to is actually a zipper "storm flap" to keep rain out off the zipper. You need to NOT be in a rush and use one hand/finger to keep this storm flap away from the zipper and your other hand to actually pull the zipper. Pretty simple: Take your time. The interior size is slightly smaller than stated: Interior dimensions are 7'8" (4" shorter than stated) and 9'6" (6" shorter than stated size). Where are they gonna put the 5th person!? This is described as a "4 or 5 person tent". Huh? Our sleeping bags are 32" across. Most sleeping bags measure 28" - 34". You do the math.............! We have 2 twin size air mattresses in the tent right now, with our sleeping bags. It would hold a 3rd person, but wow, would that be tight! How do you step in and turn around without falling on or stepping on someone else? Very comfortable for 2 people and a small amount of gear. It would be tight with 3 people if all wanted air mattresses, and almost impossible with 4 people. The "2 room design" is a joke. I did not purchase it for the "2 room" concept, and I don't intend to use it. The room divider is merely a sheet of nylon taffeta to suspend from the ceiling. If you are using a light in the tent you are clearly visible through the divider and from the outside. Pretty standard for any nylon taffeta tent. The tent entry way is cumbersome. Because of the "two room" design/theory, there are two zippers. Each comes from the bottom, outside corner up to the top center. The zipper does not go in one large semi-circle (180 degree arc), nor from one bottom corner up and around to the opposite top corner like most tents. This makes the entryway a bit "snug" and some may find it bothersome. It was not a deal-breaker for me, but a bit weird. I would prefer a larger rainfly with greater coverage. The rainfly which comes with this tent barely covers the large ventilation windows along the sides of the tent. A rainstorm/thunderstorm is going to put this rainfly to the test and I suspect water may come in along the sides in the event of a very windy storm. Other: The "Weather Armor polyester with a polyurethane coating" is imperceptible, probably because it has to be breathable. I would like it to SEEM more waterproof; the nylon taffeta does not really need to be breathable on this tent IMO, because this tent has impressively large ventilation areas along the side walls, front and back windows and mid-roof. It would be reassuring if the walls were a bit more sturdy and at least appeared more waterproof, but this is certainly not unusual for modern tent designs, unless you spring for an super expensive, rare canvas tent. Time will tell if the tent is waterproof and can stand up to a thunderstorm. I will try to update this sometime and let you know! Update: This tent has been up in our "mini woods" on our property now for 2 weeks straight. During that time we have had three thunderstorms, one in which water came down in sheets, producing 2" of rain in 20 minutes. Two of the other thunderstorms had impressive winds. The tent took on just a tiny bit of water near the front opening; I am assuming it came in thru the zipper or perhaps leaked down from the rainfly and entered along the doorway. I do not have a separate tarp over the tent but I did apply 2 entire cans of Scotchguard tent weather-proofer on it.

Well this tent is a great use for just that
Alright guys and gals. Anyone want to go in a place full of bugs, fires, beer and of course your loves ones and friends and just hang out without having to worry about anything from normal society? Well this tent is a great use for just that! It's well built and easy to put together, I would think that if you had troubles you were obviously having way to much fun on the way going up to the mountains. It's compacted enough to still easily fit in it's carrying bag and packages which is odd because we all know how much fun it is picking up your camp site and trying to figure out how to get the tent back in the bag or if you are anything like my family it involves mostly just tossing it in the back and not giving a care in the world because hey, we are cool like that! It can fit a good queen sized mattress and I had purchased my daughter her own little air mattress and we still had room enough to move around without worrying if we were going to kill each other by the end of the night if we had to go pee while the nature was it's best. It seemed relatively quiet in the tent surprisingly. Almost like a second home and kept the bugs out great! Ever had one of those tents that either the zipper fell through or something and somehow that one huge gigantic spider that was only attracted to women appearantly hung from the corner of the tent just waiting to take it's bite? Yeah. That didn't happen in this tent. It kept all the meanies out and made our camping experience really nice. As most have commented the rounded bottom does prevent a lot of the dirt and rain storms from coming in. We will have to test in our terrain when it becomes fall or next spring to let you guys know how well it really works in ultimate conditions. We are kind of prepping nutso's so wanted good products for a decent price. I looked around for a long time for a tent before settling on this one and this one attracted me mostly for it's size. I could still stand up in it and I am 4'9, but my boyfriend could stand up in the tent as well at 6'0. The only down side is that if you want to blow up a mattress you have to put it in the tent first and than blow it up, but if you are one of the ones who just have a sleeping bag you'll be fine. All in all, it's light weight held up well and we will be updating as each season comes a long in our area to tell you just how well it really holds up.

Great tent at a great price!
After camping for several years, decided it was time to upgrade to a unit that would hold a cot versus the traditional air mattresses. This one fit the bill. In reality, 4 persons would be a bit tight, it is perfect for two or GREAT for one. Plenty of room left over with a cot, able to stand up almost straight for changing clothes. Very well constructed, took approximately 10 minutes or less to setup and the features were great. A bit windy the first day and the tent held up very well. Breakdown and packing took even less time. Great product.

Great for our children's first camping trip!
We decided this year we would go camping, money is tight but we still wanted to take a vacation. Well since we have never gone together (my husband, and I ) we had nothing for this trip. Growing up my family always went camping it was exciting and well saved us tons of money. So we needed a tent that would go up fairly easy, and hold my husband, my two daughters (4 &5) and myself and leave room to kinda move a bit. My husband found this tent and suggested it, I had my doubts but we ordered it, he set it up the night before our trip (to familiarize himself with it) and the next day we set off for our vacation. The tent went up in less than 15 Minutes and was bigger than I expected! (we did buy extra stakes and i would recommend that no matter what tent you buy) we fit a queen sized air matress, two youth cots and nearly ever stuffed animals my daughters owned along with two small fans 2 laptops a large powerstrip and still had room between to move in and out of the tent!!! (the youth cots were also bought on amazon, and the air matress and several of the extra stuffed animals) - We wnt during the summer and while during the day it was much to hot to stay in the tent it still was great in the mornings at night etc and so easy to put up/take down. our camp ground neighbors had some huge elaborate multi room tent and wereworking on it when we got to the campground and when we had ours up, truck unloaded, inside of tent set up and were headed to dinner they still hadnt set it up (2 adult men and 1 woman, while just my husband had ours set up and done before my girls could begin to get all their stuff out of the truck (their toys) so this tent was awesome. and the price couldnt be beat, believe me at the time we bought it I was determined I was going to find a better deal than my husband... needless to say.... we bought this tent! we plan to camp again in the spring and next fall, and use this tent. (***however*** I wouldnt try 4 full grown adults unless you are just using it to sleep not store anything and dont mind laying right next to eachother, a family with small kids or just a couple would do best with this.)

Good quality 3 season tent.
This is a good tent. I have had it for a year and is light and easy to setup. The materials are good quality and can sleep 4 adults comfortably. More than 4 people will be tight unless everyone is skinny. I do agree with other reviewers that the internal division is really not practical. The nylon divider is small and provides almost no privacy. Also keep in mind that this is a 3 season tent. It is not meant for winter camping. The wind comes in right under the fly which may be a plus on a hot Summer night, but a cold draft in the Winter will be pretty bad. Having said that, I give it high ratings for rain insulation. We took a heavy downpour during a camping trip and didn't get wet inside. I did notice some water droplets coming in thru the seams during the rain. So I bought a can of insulation and sprayed all of the seams. Haven't had a problem since.

Fair deal for the money
I bought this tent for a 2 night camping trip with my husband and two young daughters (ages 6 and 4). We have a king size air mattress and planned on all 4 of us sleeping on it. The king size mattress just barely fit inside so there was hardly any walking room around the mattress. We didn't even put up the divider curtain that would turn it into a 2 room tent, it would make an already small tent even smaller. I could barely stand inside (I'm 5'2") and my husband (6'2") had to crawl around. The tent does have a problem with the zipper. The zipper is extremely taut and caught easily in the orange outer seam. In fact, I was afraid that the zipper seam would pop when we were zipping it closed. However, it was easily set up and taken down, once we settled down for the night we all slept very comfortably inside, and it withstood wind gusts up to 25 mph for 2 days!!! It had good ventilation even with the rain fly on. Despite the aforementioned issues, it was a good little tent for a 2 night trip, taking into consideration the amount of money we paid for it. We'll probably keep it for backyard tent sleep overs and slumber parties for the girls, but will get something bigger for future family camping trips.
