Bought this as a 1:1 replacement for a DC Sports muffler that was on my car before I purchased it (previous owner did a lot of custom work on it before selling it to auto reseller). This was the closest model to the old one (discontinued) that had rusted out so I purchased it hopefully it would be a good fit. Had auto shop guys weld it on for me and it was a perfect fit, no clamps or adapters needed. It sounds great, no real drone noises on the highway and I'm sure my neighbor is happy they don't have to hear the old muffler rattling around anymore lol Additional info: the only thing in the box is the muffler itself. No instructions, clamps/adapters, hardware. Literally the box and the muffler so if you need any other pieces for installation, you will need to purchase them as well. Also, save yourself the hassle and get your inlet specs before purchase. I used a sewing tape measure to get my measurement and it was spot on.

I have a 90 civic with a 1.5 (d15b1) and it sounds great. I have it straight piped, no catalytic converter, BUT there's a lot of drone inside the car, so much so that I use earplugs for roads trips. If this muffler had the option for a silencer it would be pretty much perfect, I will be adding the cat back on and perhaps a resonator. Otherwise it looks decent. Also these are sold at autozone... if I would've known I would've got a another one lol

absolutely love this muffler. one of the best mods you can get for the price. at around 2-3k rpm it burbles a lot when you let off the throttle. (4cylinder with no other exhaust mods) it’s very aggressive when stepping on the gas and occasionally I’ll get an actual pop. overall would recommend to anyone trying to go for a louder exhaust as it’s not so loud that it’s annoying. has no bad raspy sound either.

First off, this is a great exhaust system. But, i only suggest it as a Cat Back system. It has a very deep drone, and sounds great on my 2012 Kia Soul 2U (Or ! For you American peoples) Second, It's not your typical 'Ricer Exhaust', this make your car sound like it has cohoenays. Although i didn't realize much of a difference in power, this is probably due to the fact, i only did it as a Cat Back system. If you have straight-pipes, or are going to straight-pipe, i suggest a flowmaster 40. This unit, will probably give you a headache, unless you plan on laying down that sound proofing tar stuff in the trunk area of your car, then have 'atter. Other than that, great unit, and I plan on buying 2 more for my buddy's 2003 Tibby. ***One Year Later*** This exhaust has definitely lived up to its expectations. I constantly get compliments on the sound it generates. Its not to loud, and not to quite. Sounds great paired up with a Cold Air Intake. You will not regret this purchase. I bought this pretty much as an experiment. I have a 06 Scion tC, its a sporty car but it's a small 160hp 4 cylinder. It's pretty quiet from stock but after welding this on, MAN does it sound good. It doesn't have the obnoxious loud ricer fart sound like I expected. It actually has a very deep growl, it's not overly loud and obnoxious when driving regularly but when revving it up and accelerating, it has a pretty loud and deep sound. Cost me 160 for it to be welded in at a muffler shop. Definitely worth the price.

Smooth sound.. Not bad at all.

The muffler has a smaller internal diameter than what I needed but description doesn't mention that it's 2.25 external diameter. Most mufflers are made to slide over the exhaust pipe. Quality is average.

This muffler is so good. It’s just perfect. When you start the car you hear it but then goes silent as long as you don’t rev it. Once you rev and RPM goes around 3000. It resonates and blesses the street. Recommend it.
