Q: Does this slider work at any sort of vertical angle, or does it have to be entirely level?

I've used it with my 5D at some pretty steep angles. It won't go completely vertical but, depending on your camera it can get pretty damn steep.

Q: Can it be plugged into a ac adapter instead of connecting into a usb for a quicker charge?

I use a 2amp charger and it charges it faster. I use an AC adapter but I haven't tried it to charge it.

Q: How do you mount this on two tripods?

I mount this on two tripods all the time. It’s has places to connect to a plate or directly to tripod screw at each end.

Q: Is this the updated silent motor? Neewer mentioned a new motor would be released a couple months ago.

The motor I received is very quiet, not like some other motors I have heard. I bought it in December 2019.
