Coghlan's Water Bottle Carrier

I bought this item for my 5 year old to use on summer school field trips. He's required to bring and carry a water bottle around, and I thought this would make it easier for him. I attached it to a camelback performance bottle, and it was easy to put on, tighten and adjust the shoulder strap. The strap is quite long and would work well for an adult, and adjusts for a very small child easily. (I trimmed off the excess length just so it wouldn't be flapping around, and burned the end to prevent fraying.)He can easily put the strap on cross-body style, and drink from his bottle while wearing it. The bottle seems very secure.I'm happy with this item, and very happy with the price.

Great product and even better price. Only two small problems. 1. As packaged, the straps are all woven into a kind of puzzle and it takes several minutes to unravel them. 2. Then, it takes several minutes to adjust the straps for a particular bottle. Once these somewhat tedious things are accomplished, the result is PERFECT. Reading some of the other reviews, I see that some people have experienced bottles falling out the bottom of the device. I think that this is a result of not adjusting the straps properly. Make sure that the two vertical straps are exactly 180 degrees opposite of each other and that the lower horizontal strap is very tight. This should keep the lower strap in place and keep the bottle in the carrier. You're welcome.

worked OK after I spent about 45 minutes to an hour figuring out how to make it fit (I had to modify and reconfigure this for my water bottle, so this was expected going in). Only had one strap across the bottom and it moved around as I was walking, so the bottle fell out. I did some redesigning and came up with a solution that provided two straps across the bottom in an X pattern, so much less chance of bottle falling out. This was done at the expense of the loss of the shoulder strap, but I was able to configure it with a wide and deep belt loop (more than two inches wide and about three and a half inches high). This was the original carry option I was looking for anyway. This works better than a loop around the neck of the bottle, and the carrier stays attached when the bottle is removed for use. I am happy with this item overall.

This thing turned into a tangled ball right after I got it out of the bag and tried to unfold it. I ended up taking the thing apart and putting it back together, and struggled to get the water bottle into the thing without the bottom part of the strap slipping off.The problem is it has no stability. The horizontal straps are completely detachable and the shoulder strap, vertical side straps, and bottom strap are all one piece--one big loop through which the horizontal straps are threaded. So the whole thing is floppy and you have to make sure you don't get a twist in the main vertical strap. This would be greatly improved if the horizontal straps were sewn in place (they don't need to be completely removable, only adjustable) and the sides were stiffened.It was a pain in the rear. I'm returning it.

Bought this item at a little store in Moab UT a few years ago and lost it in a move. Looked everywhere for a replacement and was thrilled to find it here! It is exactly like the one I had. I go no where without my water bottle and this is the perfect low cost hands free solution for water bottle carriage in every situation.I am adding to my review since I have ordered more of these bottle carriers. Those of you having trouble and claiming design flaw on bottom strap may not be using it right.When your Coghlan's bottle carrier arrives, it is wrapped up into itself and kind of confusing, but look at the picture on the packaging, be patient, get the strap COMPLETELY unfolded. Then pull apart the velcro strap, one at a time, resizing as you go to fit your bottle. The straps are a bit stiff and want to fold back into place, so one at a time is the only way. After the straps are the correct length, then strap in your bottle, lay your bottle holder on a table or other flat clean surface, lay your bottle in place on the bottle holder then open one starp, pull it around your bottle and tighten it down, reattach vecro. When you are done, you will have a loop of extra strapping at the bottom: This is the bottom strap! Pull it by an attached edge so that it crosses the bottom of your bottle. Boom! Your bottle is secure!The strap is long enough to fit cross body style and still short enough to hang from one shoulder if you prefere. The design is just right so that if you need the bottle out of your way, you can drop it behind you and it will ride there without slipping forward if you bend over.

Durch den Schnellverschluss kann man den Flaschenhalter auch um die Hüfte schnallen. Beim Laufen stört dieser nicht - auf dem Bild habe ich die 0,7l Wasserflasche meines Hundes dabei. Es gibt nur 4 Sterne, weil der Boden des Halters verbesserungsfähig ist, sitzt die Flasche nicht genau, kann sie herausrutschen.

I bought this bottle carrier purely based on the previous reviews and was not disappointed. Quality and value for money first class. Easy to assemble and adjust to the different size of bottles. Length of carrying strap is just right, adjustable anyway. Must say very quick delivery to UK from this seller.
