NEW Kenwood KDC-BT762HD HD Bluetooth Car CD Player Receiver AM/FM Radio Stereo

Excellent system with all the features for the price. Works GREAT!
Excellent stereo system to upgrade your vehicle if it is lacking Bluetooth and HD radio reception. Everything on this player is great and works great with your Bluetooth phones, for iHeartRadio or Pandora. The mic cable is super long, so you can run it and mount it wherever you like. I also like that the mic reception seems very very nice. I mounted this system in my girlfriend's 2009 Forester. Everything mounted great, and I mounted the mic right on the backside of the steering wheel on the steering column, so basically it's looking up at you while you drive.I tested everything out via my Bluetooth connection and everything worked great.NOTE: The new Kenwood systems DO NOT have a cable that powers your power antennas (if you have an antenna that goes up and down, when you turn on AM/FM radio). I bought three of these and mounted them in my 2006 BMW 330Ci, 1999 Toyota 4Runner, and my girlfriend's 2009 Subaru Forester. My 1999 4Runner has a power antenna that rolls up and down if you turn on the AM/FM receiver on the stereo. Because Kenwood removed this cable and it is no longer included as one of the cable outs in the back of the receiver, my 4Runner (at first) would not raise the antenna when I switched to the AM/FM radio. I ended up wiring it to the blue/white cable, which basically provides power anytime the stereo is turned on. So now, in the 4Runner, I could be listening to my iPod, my iHeartRadio, or a CD, and the antenna is up on the outside. Also, the display IS NOT that great when the sun is out in full force. At night, it looks beautiful, but during the day, if your deck sits out far and the sun is hitting it, you will not be able to read the display. If your deck sits back or is tucked back in the dash, and there is shade by either your dash or other components on the dash, you may be good to go, but if it's the primary component and is high on the dash and the sunlight hits it directly, you won't be able to see the lettering. I tried all settings, different colors, but nothing. It's there, I can put my hand up to shade the view, and it looks great, but if direct sunlight hits it, it's very very hard to read the display.Other than that these two features, everything else is great. Excellent system, installed nicely, and looks good.

So this radio is great for all the options it comes with
So this radio is great for all the options it comes with. From bluetooth calling and music to radio controls and remote, it is an excellent stereo. That said, the only reason this gets 4 stars is there is a few small hiccups I've noticed. They're minor enough it doesn't bother me much, but something others may wish to be warned about. For purposes, this was paired often with my iPhone 5S-Once in a while, while using remote to skip a track on iPhone that is connected, it will act as though it's meaning to skip the track, displaying the next number, but fail too and return to still playing track with no skipping, as though you never even pressed skip. it happens rarely, and I've never noticed it happening when skipping by pressing appropriate button on the radio itself, just the remote.-This could be my iPhone and not the radio itself, but when having music on shuffle, sometimes it will go in a pattern like this:Track231->track232->track233->track45->track187->track236->track237it will sometimes skip back. seems to happen the higher you are in a library. One thing I do wish the radio did better is display time. Right now, unless you have the radio itself off and with clock display turned on, the only way the time will display is if you have it as small text beneath a track, artist, etc. This small text is VERY hard to see at a glance, and something I wish could be done as larger text instead while radio is functioning.Additionally, this radio was a tight fit in my vehicle, a 1995 Jeep Grand Cherokee. This isn't nessicarily a problem with the radio, but just a warning that like any aftermarket radio, fitting might be very tight in some makes and models.

Bluetooth microphone works GREAT. Nice and clear
Bluetooth microphone works GREAT. Nice and clear, even when on the freeway with the A/C Blasting. The display is not bright at all... hard to see during the day.Clock only shows up in a small print when radio is on.Clock does show up in larger print when in standbyRadio station buttons are VERY small, and I often hit the wrong one.1st ring of the Bluetooth ring is VERY VERY LOUD :(

Awesome - Buy It!!
I love this receiver. I finally installed it and cleaned up the speaker connections and this unit sounds awesome. I have used the CD player function and the USB function and the HD radio function. The Kenwood unit has an amazing range of adjustments that should allow everyone to find their perfect audio settings. I was very lucky to get a price - best investment in a long time.

Decent radio, some issues
All of the reviews stating that you can't see the display when there is any sunlight at all are true. Also when connected to a bluetooth device the display sometimes gets stuck on 1 song and even though the tracks change the display does not. It's really hard to believe that the problem with the dim display got through to production, did they not test the radio at all?

the radio is wonderful. I love the HD quality
my only complaint is, the TIME display is so small that it is insignificant. When the radio is turned off there is NO TIME display at all. That said, the radio is wonderful. I love the HD quality. My speaker system is really being used now and my car is filled with high quality sound. I am surprised that there are not more radio stations that use this technology.I love the Blue Tooth connection and now my calls from my cell are clear. Love that 'hands free'!

Great sound but dim display
Great stereo I love the sound and features however I would not buy another one because you cannot see the display unless it is dark. I can't believe ken wood would market such a great sounding stereo with such a crappy display. It can be dangerous trying to switch functions while driving.i would give it a 5 star if not for the display

Good value
Radio has excellent reception sensitivity, the display is adequately bright, and the features are easy to set even though there are a lot of them! The sound quality is excellent and installation was very easy. Price on this unit is quite fair delivery quick and I would buy from this vendor again.
