Great little camera
I have had this camera for 3 weeks and haven't used all of it's features but am very impressed. I wanted a small camera that would fit in my purse and after looking at some mini ones I decided on this camera because it looked more substantial and I had a Nikon in the past that I was very happy with. The reviews were good so I purchased it. I had a little trouble setting up wifi, but it works fine now, however it should be noted that you can send photos to a smartphone for sharing but cannot directly send them from the camera. For me it will be easier to just download them to my computer and send from there. The camera takes terrific photos in daylight and in low light. They are very sharp. The 12x zoom is great. I am an amateur photographer so I can't begin to describe all the possibilities that the camera is capable of, but if you are looking for a good point and shoot camera that is very portable and easy to use, I highly recommend this one.

Thanks Beach Camera for taking my money and sending me a piece of junk broke camera out of the box!
This camera was not working day one right out of the box. It will not focus. Trying to do a video that is clear is pointless. It will focus in and out and make the video clear once second and blurry the next and the camera is on a tripod still. JUNK! Once turned off once, it will not turn back on unless you take the battery out and put it back in. This will make you go through resetting date, time, etc. If you leave battery in, the battery will be dead by the next day. I got this during the shut down and could not send back. Now it is out of the return period. Beach Camera guaranteed it would work yet they must of missed even checking this piece of junk before they took my money. LAST TIME ORDERING FROM THEM!

Amazing Buy
I was skeptical since this is was my first time purchasing a used camera. Besides the “coolpix” logo being a little scratched, it looks and works as if it’s brand new! Excellent 1080p videos and 16mp photos. I needed something to film my nail tutorials on and it works excellent. And takes amazing photos for my products. I haven’t tried the WiFi use of it yet but I don’t regret my purchase! BUY BUY BUY! Shipped the next day too! The only thing I have to say is the battery last for about an 1 hour and a half. But that’s okay!

This camera was fine for outdoor use
This is a decent camera for a point-and-shoot. I took it on a recent trip to Italy since I wanted something with a strap so I wouldn't drop it and so I could hand it to strangers to take pictures without risking them drop my phone. We used both this camera and my phone and honestly - I would prefer using the phone. This camera was fine for outdoor use, but inside pictures weren't that great. Also, after first turning the camera on it was kind of slow taking the first picture - so getting in a quick shot was sometimes tricky.Sharing pictures over WiFi was a neat addition. You basically turn the camera into a WiFi hub and then connect your phone to it. You then use an app on your phone to browse the pictures and download the ones you want. It was neat for transferring a few pics to upload to Facebook, but it was much easier to just plug the SD card into the computer when we got home to transfer the rest.Overall - it was good purchase for our trip. I won't say it took any better pictures than my phone, but it was nice having a dedicated camera that was easier for (and cheaper) for strangers to use.

Many options, brilliant B&W
Have had the camera only a very short time, and have not yet been able to judge how long a battery will last when camera is in use. Some reports are of dismal charge life. Also, the camera and its downloadable program, so it can 'talk' to a computer, will not talk to my older computer, so I cannot load photos into the computer!!! Was able to do so on another computer, of more recent vintage. The camera itself has plenty-of very easily-set options and a vast range of 'film' sensitivities (ISO numbers), and image detail settings. I really like the in-camera picture processing options that can be applied to a picture anytime after a shot is taken. The Black & White rendition option produces a brilliant version, unlike some gritty "take a high contrast B&W picture" options that cameras ask you to select before capturing an image. The camera is small and very light. I found the in-camera charging to be inefficient- took about 3-5 hours to develop full charge, whereas a different battery-out-of-camera charger might take just an hour. If the camera in my ordinary use proves as pleasant to use as my get-familiar-with-it time has been, I will love it. Have NOT tried any movie work yet, so: no comment.

Nice camera for the price but ......
A strange thing happened with this camera..when I uploaded the pictures to my MacBook Pro there were many pictures that did not have the sharpness I thought a camera like this would produce. After I started cropping theses same blurry pictures became crystal clear and sharp....I guess its my computer? I have not experienced this with any other camera.Overall this camera is OK..it's very slow between photos which is very frustrating and I have missed many shots as a result. The battery life is also just OK. Two features that you would think Nikon would have addressed. It was not too expensive and I will probably replace it next year.

It's not as good as an SLR
For a camera that is the size of a deck of cards, it's a powerhouse. The zoom is phenomenal. The HD video is fabulous! I've brought this little baby to concerts and have been able to get fabulous photos and video from the back of the arena. It's not as good as an SLR, but for something you can slip into your pocket or a small purse, it's the camera to have!

Junk and the seller is crappy too
Think twice about buying from these people. My camera showed up with NO MANUAL. NO MEMORY CARD. It looks like it was reboxed in a NON NIKON camera box. I bought a lot from Nikon and this was no Nikon. The camera didnt turn on or off correctly. Doesn't connect to WiFi. Quality of image is bad. It's a defective product.
