Good quality mixing pots from Army Painter
Good quality dropper bottles with the added benefit of mixing balls to help keep paint well mixed. Not the cheapest on Amazon, but I feel as though it is worthwhile to have the assurance of the Army Painter name, knowing that the balls shouldn't rust and the cap is nice and tight.

The quality you would expect from army painter.
The quality you would expect from army painter. They're very good value for money, and they function as they're meant to. Would be nicer if the sticker was easier to write on. So a suggestion for the future would be to change the white part of the label to paper perhaps or an easier material to write on. Other than that, just get some stickers on them and you're good to go.

Useful way to keep army colour consistency
Brilliant idea. I’ve always mixed my own paints, and when you’re painting armies and need consistency, this will be a great way to keep large amounts of colours I’ve made up. I’ve given 4 stars as I feel they could be a bit cheaper. It’s also a shame they don’t do the lids for the airbrush and inks ranges

Caps fit Vallejo bottles! Bottles are ideal for mixing custom colours, and come with mixing balls.
These bottles are really useful if you like to mix custom paints. I have a 'special' formula I use for a dirty armour wash, and another unique colour I use for my Warmachine Privateer army. At 12ml, the bottles are smaller than the standard 17ml Army Painter and Vallejo bottles. Crucially, they will still fit in your paint rack because the designers reduced the volume by making the bottle shorter and kept the diameter the same. Each bottle comes with two mixing balls inside, which is a nice touch. The dropper nozzle pulls out so you can fill the bottle. I highly recommend buying a few small funnels. I recently transferred all my old Citadel hex-bottle and P3 paints to dropper bottles, and the mess I made was spectacular until I got a funnel. I'll be completely honest - I didn't buy these bottles for the mixing balls or for the bottles. I recently bought some Flames of War paint sets made by Vallejo and some of the bottles arrived with cracked caps, which seems to be a common problem according to the reviews. The paint inside was fine, so I thought I'd just replace the caps and move on. Not as easy as I thought. Although I have about a million empty bottles left over from my Citadel and P3 re-homing programme, none of the caps fit Vallejo bottles. A quick check of my paint collection revealed that although the bottles look completely different, the Army Painter caps are the same as the Vallejo ones, and fit the Vallejo bottles. I haven't been able to find spare caps on their own (Army Painter, if you are reading this, there's a gap in the market that needs filling), so this set of 6 mixing bottles is the only source of compatible caps that I know of. The set costs less than five pounds, delivered next-day on Prime. That's 83p per bottle. Even if you only use the cap, it's still MUCH better value than wasting a bottle of paint costing between £2.50 and £5 because the cap is broken.

Perfect
Mixing paints is becoming increasingly popular, however storage can be an issue. These little bottles are ideal and coming with two mixing balls make reinvigorating the mix very easy. It's worth painting the top of the bottle with whatever brew you have made for ease of identification.
