Oster Premium Blade Lube for Clippers and Blades, 4 Fluid Ounces (076300-104-000)

Bought this for my husbands electric shaver and using this to clean it and keep it running smoothly has really helped his acne and irritation right after a shave.

I ordered this to lube up my clippers that I use on my own head. The oil is highly refined mineral oil. I wasn't sure if the oil would be a petroleum product or vegetable product, but any number of MSDS show it's mineral oil. I was pleasantly surprised that there is no fragrance added to this oil. The previous oil I was using had some fragrance added, and it was not pleasant. Nothing special to say about the bottle, but the nozzle is perfect. You can dispense a precise drop on either side of the clipper, and let it flow through. You can hear the sound of the clipper change as the oil makes it's way between the blades. I also used this oil up a pair of needle nose pliers, just to see if it would penetrate as well as other lightweight machine oil. Penetrates very well, very thin, but not sure how long it will last, or will it get sticky. In a clipper, it pretty much gets rubbed/scrubbed out by hair, but in a pair of pliers that rarely get used, it might turn sticky. Would recommend this highly to anyone with clippers, human or pet.

I purchased this oil to lubricate the blades and foils of my recently purchased Braun and 25 year old Philips electric razors. I put this on a small squeezing bottle with a blunt metal tip applicator and dropped oils onto the foils, cutting and moving parts of the blades. I also dropped it to gear parts and moto axis of 25 year old Philops electric razor, i.e. 835RX. I could realize the operating sound decreased slightly~significantly and sometimes repeated application was associated with lesser operating noise. I hope that lubrication will help moving parts last longer with decreased noise. I'm going to try SuperLube's heavy & medium lubricating oils on the same razors someday for comparison. I'm interested in lubricating various instruments near me with various lubrication oils from SuperLube and realized perceivable difference between before and after using it. Most advisors recommended to use highly purified mineral oil such as this product but I think why not using the SuperLube's food grade safe lubricating oils instead? The SuperLube's lubricants are even in food-grade. I already tried to use SuperLube(dielectric itself) on the gears and motor of old Electric Razor from Philips and I found significant difference. And because it is dielectric it is said to be safe for using on the axis of electric motors.(I think it should not be applied on the conducting parts of an electric motor instead, which mean only small amount at the pit for motor Axis) Recently I learned that effective lubrication makes things work better, smoother and more silent. Although not so markedly, I think it did what it was supposed to to.

I actually got this for my electric hair trimmers. It works great for those and I just used the built in nozzle and don't have to get separate ones. It is there perfect weight for my purpose. I haven't tried it on other shop tools but I expect it to work well for them. They did work very well on squeaky door hinges and don't seem to gum up or get dirty like others. The size will last a very long time for me. It is what I wanted after trying other products and not using.

ci sarebbe poco da dire su un olio lubrificante, lubrifica quindi fa il suo dovere, è piuttosto secco ed a bassa viscosità, per questi motivi non lascia residui né sul rasoio né sulla pelle all'uso successivo
