Have bought 2, both had faulty on- off switches, replacements fine. Very nice finish, and quite flexible.Can be used as a speakerphone and able to charge a phone also . Input and output design see both ends could be better in terms of clarity i.e buttons could be bigger and everything is in a shade of black

This is a fabulous piece of engineering that is totally let down by a faulty defective batch of on off switches. Mine arrived today, I loved it and it sounds superb and switched it on and reveled in the sound and the look of it, then after a few hours of playing went to turn it off and hey presto nothing will actually switch it off as the on/off does not work at all - straight back to amazon for their superb refund and return service. I have debated buying a 570 but so many reviews have the same switch problem if not immediate then within a few months. Oh BRAVEN I so badly want to buy your fab speaker but someone in your QA team needs removing.** UPDATE ** I have bought the 570 in Black and so far the switch after a few days is just fine so fingers crossed, I have used it with a Nokia Lumia 920, iPad and Asus Nexus and all good. For the very best sound it is worth downloading or using a graphic equalizer app as you can really fine tune the bass and treble, in fact I was amazed at just how much bass this can actually produce tweaking the low frequencies/using a bass enhance/loudness, even at lower volume. The reviewers that slam the sound no doubt just plug it in and expect a miracle on the Bass without even playing around with the device that is streaming it.

Bought it 2 years ago and the sound is crisp. But the weakest point of this product is the fragile on/off switch that easily brake. Need to open the case to manually switch it on inside the case.

I'm really impressed by the quality of sound from the Braven 650. I was expecting it to be far worse tbh. It can get pretty loud too.I read reviews that said the bass from this wasn't very good, but for most music types it's as good as you could get from a speaker this size. However, the tonal quality can be changed by putting it on a soft surface (to get a deeper, warmer sound) or on a hard surface (to get a crisper sound).Other than the slightly ridiculous packaging (I dislike having to throw out large pieces of plastic), it's full marks all round.

This is a very nice looking speaker. It has excellent sound and is very solidly built. It was a bit expensive but there is nothing cheap about it. Definitely one to look out for in the sales!

These speakers were an excellent gift until they stopped working after a day or two! My husband has tried without success to obtain a replacement set so we feel very disappointed and let down by the company. It is frustratingly poor customer service as we feel we have done everything we can to get in touch politely with no success.
