Verilux Original Natural Spectrum Floor Lamp with Adjustable EasyFlex Gooseneck, Ivory

Product was packaged very well. Instruction booklet is buried at the bottom of the box! I started to set it up before reading. Easy to assemble and strong metal hollow stand. Key is to ensure the top and bottom of the metal stand fit in security otherwise it is a challenge to align and input the screws. Two setting for the light is great. This is not so much a "light" for reading as a light for those whom the long dark winter days are a negative draw. However, it can serve as a good reading light. Great price for this type of lamp. Most like it are double or triple this price.(Previously I had a desk top model that was a pain for several years - the bulb was loose most of the time & when I went to look for a replacement, it was more than what I had paid for the desk lamp!)

The floor lamp went together easy enough with no issues. It looks great and lights up my drawing board nicely. It's very study with it's weighted base on my no-pile carpet flooring. I docked a point because the top section just "sits" on the main pole, so sometimes when I need to move it (ie: when vacuuming) and without thinking grab the bendable upper section instead of the lower pole, it comes apart. A couple of screws to hold those two pieces together would have been nice.Edit: Upgraded to 5 stars because it turns out there actually is a screw that securely holds the top and bottom portions together. And I also now see there's a hole for a screw to hold the lower pole to the base, but I can't find that second screw. I'll go to my local Home Depot or Lowes to pick one up. So... be sure to watch out for those 2 small black screws when unpacking and assembling your new lamp.

Looks good! I had it assembled in just a few minutes and it is sturdy if done right. I gave it 4 stars because there is no discernible difference in brightness between the High and Low settings, and overall, it's not as bright as I expected. I will say it provides adequate complementary lighting for reading, working behind the computer, etc.

It sits by my recliner in my bedroom. I love reading by that light when I can’t sleep at night. It’s very soothing and gentle on the eyes

Lamp works great. But arrived missing some screws. Called the manufacturer and they sent them out.

The lamp comes in three main pieces: the top with the light fixture, a connector "tube" and the base. The directions said to thread the electrical cord from the top through the connector and plug it into the base. Except that I never got that far. The electrical connection literally fell apart in my hands, with no possible way to re-construct it. Bad experience, shoddy construction. A big thumbs down and sent back the next day.

This lamp is the best floor lamp I have ever owned. It puts a perfect light over my desk (no glare in my eyes) which does not project out into the room and disturb others and I have a second over the edge of my leather couch which again makes it perfect for reading the newspaper while not disturbing those watching TV who like it darker. Easy to set up and being able to move the lamp part is terrific. I have used mine (over my desk) for a minimum of 9 hours a day (my office is on the dark side) for over a year now and it is still going strong.

Came well packaged , steady base, adjustable brightness. This light is very nice for reading but not as bright as I had hoped. Really had hoped for a very bright light to do fine work under. Nothing really wrong with this light just not what I wanted in brightness.

I was so impressed with the first one I bought another! The lamps give a great deal of light, terrific for reading or writing and have had no difficulties with either. Good buy!

A good light, 2nd one I have had but you have to have help to put it together.

Love this lamp! The light it puts off is amazing. I use it for eyelash extensions and I love how flexible the top is. The base is super secure and it's very good quality!

The cheap plastic light cage clip broke when first assembling it. Adjusting the cage and switch before we the light to work properly turn off anf on. The light does works great for what I need it for so we kept it.For the price I expected better.
