Works!
If you have a tfcc tear in your wrist, this is exactly what you need! It doesn’t look like much but holy cow does it work amazingly well! They gave me my first one at the Drs office and I was thinking, what could that possibly do??? But boy was I wrong! The pain was gone immediately!

Great for Golf!
Great support for golfers struggling with wrist pain too. Dealing with lingering pain/soreness from a broken bone in my wrist years ago. This brace helps drastically and I can wear it on my Glove hand, too!

Works great, cost a lot
I have TFCC tear that's been surgically repaired but still pops from time to time and is weak. I was using various different full wrist braces to give the pain and weakness relief. I'm happy I took a chance and tried this brace as it is simple, but somehow works to alleviate the pain. I'm giving it 4 stars because it cost so much for something so simple, so the company is profiting big time off people suffering. So yea, that kind of sucks.

A Great Piece of Equipment
I tore my TFCC about 12 years ago. I was in a lot of pain and was desperate for some relief. I came across the Wrist Widget and gave it a try. I was disappointed because I thought it had no effect. I even called out to Hawaii and spoke to Wendy Medieros, the inventor. After a couple of years, I grew to understand the injury a bit more and it eventually it became a non issue. Until a couple of months ago. For some reason, my wrist again became an issue again a few months ago. I figured,"What do I have to lose?, and bought another one. I put it on and I was astounded. The relief was instant. The product did not change. Possibly, because the injury was older, more mature and there wasn't as much swelling, but it didn't matter. I put it on and the issues, the discomfort, etc. was gone immediately. My wife dug out the old one and now I have 2, one to work out and get sweaty in and one to wear for everyday life. It's been about 6 weeks and I am finally comfortable enough to take it off. The issues are greatly reduced and I can go about my daily life without it. But, I am keeping it available in case I get another flare up. I can't say enough good things about the Wrist Widget.

Ouchy!
The wrist brace does help with pain and is a neat and simple design that fits underneath medical gloves if you work in the field. The cons are that it is made of the material they make extension cord wraps out of and the plastic velcro has sharp edges that chafe really bad. Attached is my wrist after one day. The material has rubbed through a few layers of skin and is really uncomfortable to wear. I have played with the tension several times trying to find the sweet spot but the material continues to cut in when I move. I really wish they were made of something more suitable for longterm wear

Perfect for what it is
I really did not have high hopes for this tiny little band but boy does it work! If your doctor has mentioned TFCC then this is the wrist band for you. It’s has improved my pain ten fold. It is slightly uncomfortable after wearing for several hours but nothing crazy. Just a little itchy. It has help up well after using daily for sever weeks.

Highly recommend the Wrist Widget
I ordered my wrist widget just over a month ago when my wrist (ulner side) was so painful, I was thinking that I was going to have to give up or take a very long break from my favorite game of Pickleball. My wrist has been problematic for months and I have tried two other wrist braces. The wrist widget that I originally ordered was slipping and so I did what some of the other reviewers advised and I contacted the company. Wendy responded right away and sent out the XS Wrist widget which when I used with tape, fit perfectly. In a short period of just a few weeks, my wrist feels 90% better. I can't explain how it works but I am so happy to be playing pickleball again. I do wear it everyday and always when I am playing. The other reviewers were correct about the customer service being phenomenal. I do highly recommend starting with this wrist brace. It is a bit more expensive but you will be buying it eventually after trying all the other braces.

It might be psychosomatic, but I think it helps
I damaged my ulna area of my dominant hand two years ago and the doctor suggested a cortisone injection which I just didn’t want to commit to for various reasons. I did a lot of research on how to reduce the pain associated with the strain and found that this product might offer some help and I think it has. The larger wrist braces are bulky, hot and over time seem to make my wrist weaker. The wrist widget offers just the right amount of support to the area. The only issue, and it’s a major one, is that it slides off the position it is meant to stay in. So I am all day long, every hour or more, having to adjust it back into place. I understand that perhaps using a piece of thin rug mat, the rubbery weave that you place under rugs to keep the rug in place, could be cut to size and used to keep the wrist widget in place but I don’t have any of that handy. Is the wrist widget actually helping to support my wrist?? Maybe…. Does it give me the psychosomatic effect that my wrist is being supported? Yes, for sure. I still wear it two years later.

I have suffered from RSI related pain on the thumb side of both wrists for more than 20 years, but about 18 months ago I experienced a really sharp pain on the ulna side of my left wrist (when turning a door handle that I didn't realise had been tightened!!). I strapped it up with one of my many wrist supports I already had and rested it as much as possible. The pain pretty much went away, but a few months later I experienced exactly the same pain (this time from turning he shower knob!!). Out came the variety of wrist supports again for another couple of months. Pain lessened, but never went. Twisted it again on the shower knob a couple of months later! Did some research then about ulna sided pain and came across the wrist widget. (you may ask at this point why I didn't visit my doctor, but that's a long story involving many years of frustration...). Thought I'd give it a try, even though it was a bit pricey Well, at first the pain worsened for a couple of weeks, but then there was a low but noticeable improvement. I wore it 24/7 (either just got it wet in the shower, or wore a plastic bag over my arm. Didn't want to risk the shower knob without it on!!) After a few months I would say the pain had pretty much totally gone. It was at this point I realised I'd actually been wearing the thing the wrong way up for all those months!! The instructions are basic to say the least, and even after watching the videos of how to put it on I has somehow been getting it wrong. I had the harder side against my skin, and the softer side outwards. Ok, I know that seems daft, but it seemed to follow the pictures...I was wearing some "underlay" underneath to stop it scratching too much. So then I started wearing it the right way round, just for security really as the pain was pretty much gone (with the other issues I have with my wrists. it was hard to tell definitively which bit was hurting...). After about 6/7 months I weaned myself off it, and went cold turkey with no strapping. This lasted a glorious couple of months, then some pain came back, not really sure what caused it, thumb or ulna side, so went back to some general strapping. A year on from buying it, I am back wearing it again, but again it is really just for security. Having had 20 years of RSI issues, it kinda feels weird not having strapping on, so I'd rather wear a small inconspicuous thing like this and feel happy. I can report it is still going strong, not too tatty, velcro still holding. Wear it 24/7 EXCEPT in the shower - I am now braving turning the knob very carefully! So although £20 something sounds a lot, I have had my money's worth I think!

The brace itself does the job. It looks simple but it helps a lot on RFCC

These were recommended by my osteopath and they are amazing! I have been wearing them for a while and really notice when I forget to put it on. Highly recommend 👌🏻
