Clear 0.007" craft plastic

Works great with a Diode laser - Score 18% Pwr / 10mm/s Speed - Cut 78% Pwr / 10mm/s Speed.

I converted .01" to microns and found this is 254 microns thick. I did this to compare to Yupo and NARA which have different thicknesses. There are some inexpensive Nara papers, but this is thicker. I have used this for two alcohol ink paintings and found it to be less staining than Yupo, but I like the staining quality of Yupo for backgrounds better. It is easier to wipe the slate clean with this paper, so that's a plus. Each paper will have different uses. Also, I had some trouble with blowing this with an airbrush, but next time will try wiping down the page with alcohol first. Also, I wonder if both sides are useable. One seems glossier/smoother than the other, or is that my imagination? Again, I'll do more experiments. I do like the price of this quite a bit, and it will be my go-to paper for practicing techniques. Also, I'll get the 12x12 and cut it up to make some color swatches which I always do with any medium, watercolors, colored pencils, etc. Makes it easier to choose colors. I also like that this is archival like Yupo. I couldn't find any info on Nara papers being archival on their website or descriptions. I posted a question, so perhaps it's hidden somewhere and I'll find it. Non-archival paper will yellow in about 10 years, so I always consider that.

We had some electric landscape lighting installed a couple weeks ago, and noticed that the LED bulbs were VERY bright and blinding as-is. We thought that maybe there was a little light-diffusing insert that we may have accidentally tossed with the packaging, but it turns out that is the way they were designed. Weird. Anyway, I'm my father's daughter and started thinking up some solutions that might work to diffuse the light. I picked up these .007 plastic sheets (sheets, plastic sheets) and ordered separately ALZO white nylon silk diffusion fabric. I cut a square of fabric the size of one of these sheets (12"x12", I think), and used spray adhesive to get the fabric to adhere to the sheet of plastic. From there, I cut a little curved template out that would fit down inside the "cage" that sits around our light. It worked PERFECTLY for what I intended it to do. It's heavy enough to maintain it's shape, but thin enough that I was able to curl it around inside the light. The way the tops screw on the lights, we were able to just drop these little guys in and replace the caps. Voila! No more blinding bulbs! This would also be great for stencils or screen printing. Since I only needed 2 sheets out of the pack, I think I may make some templates for my fingernails. This will help to ensure I can cut my Jamberry nail wraps to the perfect size every time!

These were recommended for making stencils on a Cricut. I usually use the Cricut branded ones but needed something I could use more than once. They were perfect for my project but a little pricey. I also wish they came in a 12x24 option.

This works just as great as YUPO but better! Better because IT DOESNT WARP IMMEDIATLEY WITH A HEAT GUN!! If you are like me and utilize a hand blower AMD heat gun to blow your inks around then this is exactly what you want ! I can run the heat gun over the page and as long as i keep it moving it doesn’t melt and warp and distort the craft plastic sheet on me and THAT is a game changer ! Combine that with the fact that it’s at least 50% less costly than Yupo paper and this stuff IS the bees-knees! I cut it into 6x6 sheets for card fronts and just trim them after inking to size of the card being made. I can’t wait to use a full sheet to make 1 large alcohol ink painting for a family member who just got an new home :-) Do yourself the favor and just try it if you are even thinking about it !

I had seen where people were using this in their Silhouette Cameos to cut out stencils. I have had the hardest time trying to get them to cut...HERE'S WHY? I'd been using the blade that has been in my machine for about three years. I don't do a lot of cutting, that's going to change now because I've started making cards. YOU MUST HAVE A NICE SHARP BLADE, PREFERABLY A NEW ONE! I didn't realize how dull my blade was, but I had an unused one so I changed to a new blade and VOILA! it cut right through...in fact I cut a hole in my mat. I was just cutting a 1/4" square to see if I could make it through and I still had my blade set at 10, so it cut through the plastic and the mat. I changed the blade depth to 5 and it cut almost all the way around a design, but a few spots didn't cut and made getting the stencil out a little difficult. This is rather thin plastic and a little on the fragile side, so you want the blade to do all the work and not have to bend or damage the plastic manually. I changed the multi-pass to 3 times and it worked like a charm. Pulled up the plastic sheet and the stencil stayed on the mat, one piece and was easy to remove with the metal spatula. Since I'm going to be making 6" x 6" stencils each sheet of this plastic will give me 4 for a total of 100 stencils out of the 25 sheets...a bargain! I've included the cut settings below for those that want them. REMEMBER! NICE SHARP BLADE, PREFERABLY NEW! This stuff is a dream for alcohol inks!

I purchased this product to use with the Cricut Explore One. As mentioned in some other reviews, the product comes shipped flat within cardboard. Each sheet is separate with tissue paper. Not much else to say there other than I was happy with how it shipped. I had zero issues getting it to cut with the Cricut Explore One. I used the Stencil setting and even with the regular blade, it cut right through easily. I actually had more trouble using the deep cut blade...it didn't seem as precise. My first product was a leaf pattern to put on my wall. I was able to easily affix the stencil to the wall with Krylon 10.25-Ounce Easy Tack Repositionable Adhesive Spray and I used a stencil brush and acrylic paint. I was most happy with the fact that I was able to reuse the stencil multiple times. I've seen other people say they were able to wash it off, but I decided to throw it away about about 5 uses. This was cheap enough that I didn't feel the need to waste the water and time. Also to note - I tried buying stencils from Hobby Lobby. Those were way to thick and the Cricut had trouble cutting them. Therefore, I recommend going with these thinner stencils. I included two pictures - one showing the packaging and the other illustrating a stencil I cut so you can get a sense of the product in action. TLDR - highly recommended for use in the Cricut Explore and reusable for painting.

Excellent product to use with alcohol inks as is possible to wipe clean mistakes and does not easily stain.

This product is very good for laminating letter sized documents. It can also be used to laminate two or three smaller pieces in the same sheet. Be aware, DO NOT cut the sheets prior to sealing with the laminating machine, you may cur the sheet too small for a proper seal. Always cut the laminating sheets After they have been sealed.

I had a play with this paper and alcohol inks. A really fun and easy paper for this. I also used it to create some masks from some dies in my stash. I didn't have some basic shapes I wanted to work with and this 'plastic' type paper make excellent masks/stencils. I'll be buying again.
