As the previous reviewer stated, this dolly can slip through the scuppers (if they are 12 - 14 inches apart, as are mine) and become non functional when its wheels then come in contact with the kayak's bottom. I would rate it 5 stars IF AND ONLY IF your kayak's scupper holes holes are more or less than those listed measurements; guess that's why the product description states, "fits most SOT kayaks", so they should note this exception more specifically therein. Otherwise, it is a well built & designed folding SOT kayak cart, particularly with the airless tires feature and included mesh storage bag. Assembly & take apart is quick ( < 6" H x 2' L x 1' D disassembled ) and cart is lightweight to carry. To those whom it may concern: Suspenz is based in Atlanta but I cannot ascertain if their products are made in the USA because I could not find its manufacturing origin listed anywhere on the cart itself, the box, the instruction sheet or co. website. Bought mine from Amazon Warehouse slightly used (20% cosmetic damage) at about a third off the $100 MSRP, so value outweighed this design flaw as I rigged something to the cart to counter slippage. tendency.

I have the Ocean Kayak Big game 70LB Kayak and this cart works good for it and my other ocean kayak with scupper holes, I did not think airless wheels would work but they work good even in soft terrain also its very easy to adjust to different size Kayaks, i had the Ascend cart before this cart and was always having to air up the tires on valve stems that were not easily accessible and was difficult to re adjust size to other kayaks and did not have as wide range of adjustment as this one, i like this cart way more very happy with it

We bought this one and the other one that straps around the kayak; my wife prefers this one as it’s easier to attach and detach. It fits in the well of our wilderness systems Tarpon 100 while on the water, eliminating any threat of it being stolen. The only negative is that the arms that insert though the kayak must be aligned carefully to be able pull or push the boat straight, otherwise it rolls at an angle.

These have an annoying tendency to slip all the way through the scuppers and not hold the kayak up.They are a universal fit because the Z-arms swing to whatever distance apart your scuppers are. If your scupper holes are large, the arm will go through past the bend and the cart ceases to work.I plan to resolve this by putting a foam crab line float on each post to keep things in place.Otherwise, they work great. Larger wheels would roll over rough terrain more easily. Well made, but I think it is steel when it could have been done lighter in aluminum.If you use the scuppers in the middle of your boat, it balances better and is a light push/pull. Use holes at the end and you have a heavier lift.

This cart helps us move them with ease. My husbands is heavier and was difficult for us to manuver, but now he can do it by himself. We do have to adjust slightly for my kayak but easy to change angle.

Works great to take my sit-on tops from my garage to the lakefront...it takes 20 seconds to load them on and I can wheel them along with one hand on the kayak's front handle. Fits two Ocean Kayaks and my Perception Pescador. Does not fit the Pelican because the scupper holes are very thin.

Works well. Had to make adjusters for it to fit kayak.

Nice to have for transporting my kayak from the truck to & from the water.
