ANGLEPOISEType 75 Mini Desk Lamp - Slate Grey

If you're in the market for a balanced arm lamp and a fan of industrial design just get an Anglepoise, the original is always the best. From my point of view I can't fault these lamps, they look sharp, the design is a classic and will never go out of style, the mechanism works flawlessly and it just feels very well put together. The only thing I had to do was swap out the supplied bulb for one better suited to display lighting.

Very good price for an Anglepoise lamp when it was on sale. I think I paid £65. It’s small but I knew what I was buying and a lot of the cost for these is down to brand. The engineering is very good quality. My only gripe if the sticker that was on the base is difficult to get off.

theres not much to lamp ownership. you move it around occasionally and turn it on and off.which is why im so surprised at how cheap and clunky the on/off switch is. its loose, sticks sometimes, and makes a horrible cheap and unsatisfying echoing clicking noise.quite frankly ive never noticed any lamp feel particularly cheap but somehow this one does, despite the appeal of having one being the opposite. I just dont understand what happened in the design process.Save yourself the money and dont be the kind of person who needs to explain why their lamp is good to someone

Simple to set up, a very flexible and easily adjustable light. Just right for the desk. Overall an excellent transaction.

For an elderly person with limited dexterity, the on/off switch is difficult.
