Games Workshop Warhammer 40K: Imperial Guard Cadian Battleforce

The reason i like this set the most is because of how much money you save if you were to buy individually. if you were to buy each individually it would cost around 140$(not including shipping). i never wanted a sentinel but it turned out to be a decent unit.The box came quickly and without issue. i got one battleforce, one lemon russ, and one more infantry 10 man squad as a starter(the battleforce alone is not a very good army. now im buying another battleforce so i could have a 2nd infantry platoon. The set is great since you get everything you need for a small infantry platoon, heavy weapons for that platoon(or a separate support unit like mortars)and a sentinel (which can form a squad if you buy more than one battleforce eventually like me). very good buy.if this is your first set you should know that-it may be difficult to paint if you are not experienced-paint must be bought separatly which will cost around 35$ in total.-if you drop one they wont break, the worst that happens is the glue is undone and you need to re-glue

This battleforce makes a great addition to any army or a great starter, i would how ever recommend some modeling or building experience before you buy this, it can seem a little overwhelming with all the different possible choices for infantry special weapons or making your sentinel armored or not. make sure you know what your building first before you just start snipping and gluing. great price overall. if you bought all this individually it would normally cost you 135$ without shipping.

The image shows a Leman Russ battle tank while the description says the boxed set has a sentinel. What does this set actually come with?

I won't comment on the price but the actual content of the box is pretty awesome. I especially was impressed by the bitz and pieces from the command squad. Lots of just cool pieces. I was able to combine bitz from all the included squads to help customize my army--which was pretty nice. I certainly can't complain!

These are great models for a great game, but they are extremely overpriced. This was one of the best deals for them.

This is an amazing product to start your warhammer 40k imperial guard army. If you want to begin using imperial guard start here. This box can be used by the rules as a full army or alone as a single troop choice (with a fast attack)

Excellent value for the amount of figures in the box. The quality is also very good. Comes with enough extras to spice up the models.

The product was okay, but does require a considerable amount of time to assemble; before you even begin to paint them. I remain bitterly annoyed that Games Workshop manages to charge a great deal more for plastic figures than regular manufacturers ask for in cast metal.
