My cat's using it!
So glad! My cat is good about drinking water -- but only from a glass. My glass. The one I keep on my beside table. So I have to drink out of a bottle. Since she's 17 years old now and has kidney disease, I bought this fountain to *really* encourage her to drink more water. I really (really) don't want to have to give her sub-q saline injections as some of my friends have had to do. I think my furbaby would hate it and I would freak out trying. I've had the fountain for a week. It took her 2-3 days before I could take the glass of water away completely. The DOWN side of using this fountain is that I can't see how much water she's drinking. With a glass of water, it was obvious. It is very quiet. Good thing since it sits a few feet from my head. Assembly was easy. I got a pack of filters, too.

Delta's Water Fountain Heaven!
Our 2-year-old Blue Heeler rescue, Delta, loves her water fountain! She's 50 lbs and we purchased it after she was ill and refused to drink the standing water in her previous self-feeding water dish. We tried EVERYTHING to get her to drink water but she refused and we resorted to continuing to give her unflavored Pedialyte and Chicken Bone Broth frozen into ice cubes (which she would eat) to keep her hydrated. After a 2 week stand-off, I purchased this fountain after reading some dogs like flowing water and she started drinking water again! Talk about a MASSIVE RELIEF! We even take it with us when we travel and our first trip to visit my in-laws...THEIR dog loved the fountain, too! This is a BREEZE to clean! There are two filters and both are simple to rinse off. One is located at the bottom of the fountain and is very small. The other rests inside the lid at the top and easily lifts out or can be tipped out. I seem to only need to replace that one about every 2 months, even though our dog is outdoors ALL the time! I keep an eye on the inside of the bowl under the lid and wash it out about once a week or every other week. I'm probably a little ridiculous about it because the filters keep it rather clean and if you rinse it - it really doesn't need it that much.Being a 50 lb dog, she drinks a lot so we refill the water about once every other day during the colder months and at least once a day during the warmer months. She drinks more than that but she's outside a lot during the day when it's warm enough (she comes in and out but she LOVES it outside) so she has lots of water outdoors, as well.I thought I would enjoy the trickling of the fountain but it got to the point where it bothered me. I just removed the spout and it minimized the sound. Now, it's super quiet and doesn't bother me at all! It's in the living room where we sit ALL the time! Don't even know it's here. It still bubbles up a little bit but it's not an irritation at all. It's honestly SO quiet!Do yourself a favor and if you have a dog, cat or anything small enough that can drink out of this - BUY IT! It's so much healthier for them and they will really get the best out of it! I wish I'd known about it sooner so I could have gotten it for the sweet little Shih Tzu we had for so many years. She would have loved it, too!

Easy & quiet. The dog loves it!
Your browser does not support HTML5 video. Extremely easy to set up. The minute I was done the dog started drinking out of it. It doesn’t make a sound. Exactly what I wanted. Two thumbs up!

My cat does not drink out of the sink nearly as much.
I bought this because one of my cats became insistent on drinking out of the kitchen faucet. The device was easy to assemble and quiet. In fact, if it becomes noisy I know I need to add water. Once it was set up my cats looked at it and walked away but I was patient. Four days after I bought it I got up in the morning to see the cat the preferred the faucet was using it. Horray!!!!!!!!!! So the cats use it now and the cat that preferred the faucet mostly prefers the fountain. It is easy to clean but because the water is circulating and you add water every few days I don't clean it that often, maybe every two to three weeks. I like the product and would recommend it, but I recognize all cats are different and they live their own world.

Cats like it
All 3 of my cats drink from it. Its quiet as far as the pump goes but I do hear the water dripping and wonder sometimes if something is leaking in my kitchen until it dawns on me it's the new fountain. lol You can remove that part that drips and let it just bubble instead. It holds a lot of water to.

Filter is faulty
It worked amazing for about 7 days and then the filter got clogged (I believe). I did not see anything in the filter (fur, food, etc) but water was overflowing. I washed and dried the filter and it worked well again for about 3 days and then it happened again. I now use it without the filter (as I use filtered water anyhow) and it works fine. So if the filter is not important to you then it’s a great product. I mainly got it to entice my pets to drink more anyhow.

Nice affordable cat fountain
I bought this cat fountain for my 14 yr old kitty who spends most of his time in the bedroom in his comfy chair. This fountain has a small footprint so I was able to put it in the master bath but I was worried I would hear the water trickling at night. It was too noisy with the flower insert but with the flower removed it’s very quiet. Cleaning is easy. So this cat fountain has been great for me: small, quiet and affordable. I only wish it was ceramic or stainless steel.

The first one was so awesome we bought a second one for another location
I have tried several different pet fountains and one of my cats was terrified of them all probably because there was the slightest hum noise. This one is literally silent except for the water dripping and both of my cats love it so much that I've bought a second one to put in another location. Highly recommend this pet fountain.
