My favorite ice cream
I use to eat this ice cream when I lived in Cincinnati Ohio. I was so thrilled to find this on Amazon. The flavor was the same, delicious! Made my day

WORLDS BEST ICE CREAM+CHOCOLATE
Seriously.. how have I not tried this ice cream until this year?! I have spent way too much money on this Black raspberry ice cream.Black raspberry is my favorite flavoring and this ice cream nailed it. The chocolate is so soft and smooth.. it literally melts in your mouth. You would think frozen chunks of chocolate would be hard but they’re actually big chunks of smooth/soft-ish chocolate that isn’t overly sweet. I’m guessing it’s dark/semi sweet chocolate because it isn’t overly sweet like milk chocolate would be. The ice cream is perfect consistency and the chocolate chunks (not chips as it is titled) combined are an INCREDIBLE combination!!!! This brand will not disappoint! I wish I could buy the chocolate they use to make this! I am embarrassed to say I eat one of these containers every few days right now lol. It is so freaking good.

Flavor Explosion!
This ice cream has to be the best I have ever tasted. The first thing you notice is the weight of the container. The ice cream isn’t fluffed up with air to take up volume in the container. Then, when you remove the lid, you will take notice that this has been packed to the maximum content possible. The best part is tasting this amazing ice cream. The key word is cream. It is so creamy and smooth. There is a flavor explosion in your mouth when you taste the ice cream and chunk of chocolate that slowly melts from the warmth of your breath. It is the best. The absolute best!

GRAETER'S IS THE BEST ICE CREAM ANYWHERE
Some gourmet chef must have grown up in Cincinnati -- because I've lived in a lot of places, but there is no better ice anywhere than Graeter's. Almost all chocolate pieces in ice cream has the consistency of cat litter -- the freezing process dries it out. But somebody in Cincinnati seems to have figured how to put just enough oil in the chocolate -- and how to slice the chocolate pieces big as candy -- so that the chocolate (FOR ONCE!) is actually creamy, melty, silken. Graeter's sells four pints -- delivered on dry ice -- all around the country, and people like me up in New England still splurge for it on birthdays and such. I'm bummed that Whole Foods only carries ONE flavor -- but there's a reason an ice cream blended in southern Ohio has found a foothold here in eastern New England. Damn -- once anyone tries it, they wonder why no other ice creamery has figured out the formula..... But until they do, and until Whole Foods gets the good sense to stock more than one flavor, it's good to know that Graeter's Black Raspberry Chocolate Chip (and they're not chips -- they're more like thin, elegant slices) is available here (and it's what they serve poolside in paradise, by the way).

best ice cream best flavor
Graeter's ice cream is the best there is. The black raspberry chocolate chip ice cream is delicious. fyi - the chocolate chips are actually chunks of amazing silky and soft (much softer than regular choclate chips) chocolate.

Unique and Delicious
Huge pieces of delicious chocolate in a delicious, rich raspberry ice cream (not sorbet). Wasn’t what I expected, was even better. Expensive, but worth it for something different.

Inferior to black raspberry ice cream by other brands
Black raspberry ice cream with chocolate chips is a classic and one of my favorite flavors. I tried versions by several makers, Edy's Black Raspberry Avalanche being my favorite. However, I found a version offered by Graeters inferior to other brands. The taste is too plain and the chocolate is poor quality way too soft.
