They are surprisingly pretty for being so simple. We mounted ours on tall stakes to make the edges of our driveway easy to see for backing into it. They aren't bright enough to light anything but plenty bright for that. They stay lit a LONG time, too - much longer than the other solars we have out there. I think you could have some fun by putting cut paper inside the globe to cast designs on it. It's definitely a cool white - blueish in color.EDIT- it's been a year and only 4 of them still work (one never did work). And you can't replace the batteries, unlike with many solar lights. I do still like them, but wanted to let folks know they don't last all that long. The plastic yellowed after a year (so they are warmer).

Well, you get what you pay for with these solar lights. Brand new of out of the box they worked, for about 2 hours after dark. After a couple of days of sun they worked for about 4 hours after dark. Then after 3 months they stopped working altogether. Changed batteries and still with bright sun all day-NO LIGHT at all. When they did work the light is so dim they do not light up the path at all. They at least showed where the path was when they were lit up, but that is all you get out of these lights. Of course they quit working 3 weeks after the return window closed on Amazon. No warranty and company does not respond when tried to contact them. Don't waste your money and try something else.

worked fantastic for the pumpkin lights my wife made from them. A hard Central NY winter didn't kill them.

I bought one package then got 7 more. Very easy assembly. Look great around our property. Only downfall is they aren't super secure where the globe fits on the stake and can come apart with a bump to them.

These lights look cheap to me. Not esthetically pleasing. Look weird in daylight. Do not put off much light but can work for pathway lighting if you can get by with how cheap they look.

We really like these lights. Once you buy some . . .if you're like me , you're going to buy another set. I find myself going outside just to look at these magnificent spheres ! LolAs you can see in photo , where lights are lit in background( above spheres ) those look lights are yellowish . The spheres are eye catching. For roughly 5 bucks a piece . . . You can't beat itActually , my wife just told me to order 1 or 2 more packs( 8 or 16 )So , but some please ! Before I buy all of them. P.S.- it's fun giving directions to my house now. . .I just tell em , second house on right with the big white balls. Enjoy

The lights look good. They are just not bright. I would have been happier it it would have come with stakes. But it ony came with the tube and no stake parts. But I was able to use them with an alternate method. They do not seem to be long lasting.

sensitive BUT they do work. If you tussle them around too much they won't work and globe fragile BUT AGAIN they work.
