Stuhrling Original Mens Automatic Skeleton Watch Rose Gold

This truly is a beautiful little pocket watch and for that alone it merits five stars. I have had mine for just over 3 weeks now and it has proven to be very accurate for a mechanical watch. In that time it has gained approximately 2 minutes. Exceptional (in my experience) for a mechanical watch. One odd thing... The small second hand, within what appears to be a 60 second sub dial, travels at half speed, taking 120 seconds to completely navigate the dial. Again, odd, as the watch and the other complications are dead on. Sun/moon phase, and the secondary time zone dials are right in synch. I went to YouTube in hopes of finding a similar example and found two. One with a 120 second hand and the other with a 60 second hand. Go figure! All in all, even if the second hand is "defective" (somewhat defective - I have timed it against another watch and it very accurate at 120 seconds), I still give this pocket watch 5 stars. Who uses that second hand anyway? Not me.

Ordered this twice! Once from Amazon once from a clearance place. Had problems with the original purchase had better look the second time elsewhere getting it!

Arrived missing second hand! Really deserves 0 stars, but looks very nice. No confidence in quality only good looking, but for how long? Sorry but it's a return without hesitation.

It's difficult to find a quality mechanical pocket watch today at a reasonable price. This beautiful Stuhrling fits the bill nicely. It's a stunning automatic watch that keeps decent time. (You're gonna need to wind it every couple of days since you're not wearing it on your wrist for constant motion. It comes nicely packaged with clear instructions. The ability to stand it up on a desk is icing on the cake. As a watch collector with several high-end watches, this one compares quite nicely and is at home in my collection.

I really liked this watch when I first got it. It was great to be able to see the internal workings moving back-and-forth. However, before the one year mark the watch stopped working, and when I tried to wind it, nothing happened. So now I’ve got a fancy paperweight for my desk.
