Outstanding leg compression
Sizing:I'm 6'1" and 191 pounds with a 33" waist and bought a medium. At first when I put these on, I thought they were way too small and tight and almost sent them back for a larger size. But I figured I should give them an honest chance and see if that's what they are supposed to feel like.Performance:After a few workouts I can say they have the most compression out of anything else I've tried (2XU, Nike, UA, etc.). So I'm sticking with the medium and loving the tight locked-in feeling around my quads/hamstrings. My leg muscles definitely appreciated the compression and after runs or lots of jumping playing volleyball, I don't feel anywhere near as sore as without these shorts.Fit:They are long enough to cover the majority of the quad, but not so long to show under my shorts. They could be a bit higher up around the waist at the back, but didn't notice that during my activities.Buying tip:The price seems to fluctuate regularly, so watch for a while and snatch up a pair when they are at a low point.

Perfect for power squats
I've been looking for a pair of compression shorts like this for a long time. They are perfect for leg heavy lifting. They give the leg's muscles great, strong compression. They are flexible enough to go deep while doing squats. The material is also pretty thick.I got a pair of Underarmor compression shorts about 6 years ago and I thought they were pretty good.I bought 2 more pairs from Underarmor hoping they would be as the first pair but they weren't as thick and compressing my legs as the first pair.Nike's were even worse, the just sat there over my legs without compressing any muscles. They didn't make any difference while doing squats or any heavy weight leg workout.I gave this shorts a try on my last leg workout and they made a big difference. They kept all my muscles compressed and I could notice that I had a little extra power and support when heavy lifting.I also tried the DNamic compression shorts. Those are good for days you are not heavylifting with your legs since their compression is not as strong as these shorts. Also the material is thinner. So if you do heavy lifting with your legs you will definitely find this compression shorts helpful.I'm 6 ft tall, 214 lbs, 34 waist. I ordered L and they give a great compression, leaning more to the too tight side but I prefer that than having the shorts not giving a strong compression. The leg muscles are the ones that are compressed, the crotch area is not that compressed.

I went with them and I'm very happy I spent the extra $$s
Did a lot of researching for "compression" shorts from well known brands as well as China offerings. I was looking for ratings of the subjective thickness of material combined with the highest % of elastane (or the representative spandex-type blend) which will provide the compression benefits these type of shorts are advertised to do. I was correct in choosing this brand and the 400 vs the 200. In looking at the product description of 2 Amazon listings of the same product, there were 2 different elastane % so I called "Skins" in the LA area. The woman that answered took the time to look at both listings as I gave her what I found. She was outstanding and also confirmed my assumptions of why these were the right selection. While on the phone she validated what the correct % was by checking stock, and changed the Amazon listings immediately and sent me the new Amazon link. I was impressed. Yes, they are expensive as compared to all that I looked at by given my extensive research and lots of others evaluations, I went with them and I'm very happy I spent the extra $$s, I think they're worth it and they do live up to what they advertise. I started working out in Oct 2016 and was a bit skeptical they would help. They definitely help reduce fatigue and I do recover faster. I'm 5' 8", 168 lbs, 32" waist and ordered the Mediums. Good choice and I get the compression I was looking for. I wash them in cold water, no bleach, and hang dry (no dryer) Yes, I try to take care of them and work out 5x/week. I gave them a 5 star given their current performance and the support from SKINS. Hope this helps.

Overall good shorts
Performance: This was my first pair of compression shorts, so I wasn't really sure what to expect, they feel pretty tight but not so tight that they're a struggle to put on. After a few months of use I can definitely see the benefit, especially when doing 200 - 400m repeats. I can't tell if they're boosting my performance during each sprint; if they are it's very slight. But I can really feel a difference in recovery between sets. My legs go from feeling like useless rubber logs to ready to rock in about a third less time. They really help to tame the pump.Fit: I went with the large. I'm 6'3", currently 195 lbs, with 26" thighs, 40" hips, and a 31" waist. The fit is a little bit off, but much better than I expected. I usually have trouble finding pants that fit because my thighs are large in proportion to my waist, which is why I always expect the worst. The tightest fit for me is around mid-thigh, the butt fits tightly but not as tight as the thigh. The loosest part, as I expected, is the waist, and I do wish they had a drawstring instead of plain elastic. The fit feels right when I first put them on, but if I just slap them on and run any farther than about 400m at a stretch I feel the tightness around the thighs pulling the waistband down in the back as my knees come up. The solution was to hitch them up a bit so that there is a little bit of extra material folded up around the top of the thigh. The waist is still a bit loose but it doesn't matter much because the entire short is holding itself up.

Wore out with minimal use
These were great until a small hole showed up on the seam. I wore these for 2 hours each time, less than once per week at the gym for 6 months, and they're now useless. Little hole keeps growing. Has graduated to large hole. Not sure what comes next.Anyway, they weren't cheap, so I wish I could get a refund, but it looks like that window has closed.

Perfect fit and well worth the investment
For going to the gym, for many years I have preferred to have tight clothing rather than loose shorts and T shirts that flap about when training and have historically used Nike products, which were fine and did the job, however these Skins are far superior and well worth the premium price. They are a tight, snug fit, but you don't feel like you are being strangled in them, a lovely smooth soft material and there is no issue with seams whatsoever. Once they are on, they stay in place and don't move about or ride up/down at the top or legs so give great confidence in whatever movements you are doing.Really love these....in fact so much that I bought a second pair the week after buying the first pair.

Excellent compression shorts
Got these compression tights sent fast but even though I followed the size chart the large I ordered wastoo small (I'm 190cm and weigh 190lbs. but I have big thighs and bottom). I got it exchanged to a size larger and they fit much better. The reseller was also very nice to send me another pair as the packaging for the first ones became damaged. The Skinz product also seems durable and I've been using it nonstop for squash since I got them.
