This author makes a lot of sense & is fun to listen to. I don't have much money, but am sacrificing to buy copies for all of my kids & grandkids because it is such an important message for "staying out of the traps".

Great book and advice for anyone who wants to be financially independent!

I didn't realize this was the abridged version of the book, but it was free so how can I complain about GREAT FREE ADVICE?! Clearly Dave's problems were completely different from my struggles of living in American poverty for my entire adult life, but I was able to listen to his transformational story and totally relate. I've always been a tight budgeter, but could never break-even every month if I wanted to eat once a day and get to work. I wish I had known his methods before graduating high school, or better yet when I got my first part time job at 15! Now that I have a much better job than I've ever had in 20 years of working; albeit a pretty modest salary in American terms, I can finally pay everything, on time, EVERY MONTH! And now, the savings process begins! I plan to be debt free of ALL debt in a few years and that will be a GLORIOUS day I never thought would be possible!

Highly Recommend to anyone wanting to take control of their finances.
