It’s quite sturdy and the nature of material (bamboo) means thin threads May come loose at some point but am quite pleased.

Excellent steamer! We have always used electric steamer but we wanted to stop cooking on plastic. This bamboo steamer is excellent, cooks well and the taste it's amazing. Highly recommended. You must research how to use it and taking care of it.

This was my first ever bamboo steamer and I love it. It’s also a bonus that it comes with the paper liners which are essential imo - I’ve used to make gyoza and bao buns and both worked out great
