It did what I needed it for!

I purchased a very reliable and durable Sony A700 DLSR camera last 2008, and still functioning providing clear photographs at any given occasions. The problem is the original Sony battery which is 17 years old, and died on the spot during the charging process. Now, this camera and battery are made in Japan which is very tough and durable. I cannot find the same original battery, and decided to order this non OEM replacement. This battery is made in China and works well with my Sony A700. I highly recommend this battery and looking forward to order for back up. Good product with a reasonable price tag.

The battery shipping was prompt and it was packaged well. The Battery recharges but does not last as long as I think it should but it does work and was very reasonable price . I would purchase it again.

It does it's job and holds the charge for about 500 shots per charge. I bought 2 of them since I do a lot of photography outdoors and transfer the photos to my iPad through the EyeFi software. Works just as good as the original battery Sony battery but for a lot less money. I know I got a good deal.

I appreciated receiving the camera battery but a day or two after placing the order. It comes with a one-year warranty.

This battery is compatible, by shape and contacts, with other NP-FW50 style batteries, but it doesn't hold much of a charge. I tested the BM fully charged, brand new out of the box in my Sony Mavica. The battery did not come charged, so I charged it to 100% capacity. The Mavica camera says the BM battery is good for about 47 minutes, which is less than 1/2 the charge of my old 2006 Sony NP-FW50 battery.The manufacturer claims the battery is 2000 mAh, but I have no way of verifying that. By way of comparison, however, it weighs about half of what a Sony battery weighs.Overall, if you have light power needs, it will work OK. If you want a battery that will last longer, it isn't a great choice.

This battery has more capacity than the battery that came with my Sony digital camera. Works well and is a good value for the money spent. I bought this battery as a backup to take into the field when photographing.

The battery seem to be up to par with original Sony battery. I’m happy with product as it was inexpensive than the original but as good.
