Kentek 400W ATX Power Supply ATX12V SATA 20/24 Pin
Replaced a 250W power supply. A perfect fit for the case and continues to work problem free. Adequate number of connectors. I can not think of a single feature that I am not happy with. The price was very reasonable with no sacrifice in quality. I would recommend the product to a friend or to anyone looking for a quality power supply at a reasonable price.

Excellent Power Supply. Highly Recommended for Compaq Computers
I added this power supply to my Compaq Presario S5000NX. It was a perfect fit. It wasn't designed for the Compaq computers, but it does work with them easily. The original power supply had the cooling fan fail which caused the power supply to overheat. Eventually causing it to burn out. This power supply is very quiet and operates my PC like the original unit used to before it went down.

Can't beat it for the price.
This power supply worked perfectly for my son's older tower PC. The exhaust fan blows out the front, instead of down on the CPU, like the one I replaced did. It gives plenty of power for the 2 250gbt hard drives in his system. The only reason I didn't give it 4 stars is because it only came with s SATA power connectors and his DVD multi-drive is SATA, as well as the 2 hard drives. Can't beat it for the price.

Works as expected - but loud
Bought to test another PC. Low price was deciding factor. Later installed it in a new, home built unit. Seems to work OK but it is very loud. Since this is our living room media PC the noise level is not acceptable. If you want quiet, this is not the PS for you. Keywords - low cost, sound, noise noisy, loud, loudness

It works, great price too!
Well, its a power supply. Nuttin fancy, but it works and for a great price. I just need power. It took me a bit to figure out that the 24 pin cable end splits apart so it can fit the 20 pin connector on my motherboard. I had a node blocking the way so that I couldn't fit the connector because it was too big, and I sat scratching my head for a while...but the extra 4 holes slide apart to become a 20pin. DUH, me!Item got me power to my old P4 machine.

Did not receive Kentek Power supply, and stopped working after 6 weeks
In hindsight, I should have returned the unit immediately when the brand did not match the advertisement. I received a HongYe power supply instead of a Kentek. Since I needed to get my PC running, I decided to use it. Now it no longer will allow the Motherboard to boot (fan runs). I switched it out with a 4 year old raidmax 400W from another pc, and it boots fine. Return period just ended about a week ago. Last time I accept a delivery that does not match my purchase, no matter how desperate I am.

A solid upgrade
This is a solid choice in a standard computer shell for an upgrade. If you need a new power supply or have maybe upgraded a graphics card or something that wants more power then this just might be the one for you.Pros:-Lots of power connectors-Long power lines letting your route power around part instead of over them. (the motherboard line is at least 18" long I would say, my old one was about 8". a real pain!)-Both SATA/RAID and standard 4pin connectors on each line.-Lots of mounting screw hole, seems like it would fit into many boxes.-Extra connectors for PCI, PCI-X cards if you have one that needs power.Cons:-Fairly loud compaired to my old 250W, but its almost twice the power so that is probably why. A bigger power supply is going to require more cooling afterall.-While the mounting screws aligned with my case, the small bump-out where you plug in your power cord, prevented me from getting the last one in without modifying my case.-No power light showing that it has power, if you even care about that.

Power Cord not included! How dumb is that?
Well it is Cheap.. You get what you pay for, but does the job.
