I ordered this a little late, about a week past my due date, in hopes of using for postpartum. Upon seeing this at first, it was $11.99, which by the time I finally ordered, went up to $19.99 with a $4 off coupon. I purchased because I knew I’d want it and just hoped it would be delivered in time before I had my baby. It came earlier than expected and seems to be great quality, though I haven’t had s chance to use it, as I’m writing this review from the hospital after having baby :) it fit our standard toilet just fine! The seller seems to be very reasonable as well, I reached out debating doing a return to be refunded so I could repurchase after I realized the price dropped back to $11.99 after mine was delivered, but I had a feeling that by the time I returned it, the other order would for sure not make it in time. So I contacted the seller and they graciously refunded the difference and were so kind and congratulated me on our baby. Will update review if anything changes but as of so far, I’m pretty sure my postpartum body will love using this with my Earth Mama Angel Baby sitz bath herbs. I’m very happy with my purchase :)

TMI MOMENT, … I was going through excruciating pain with a bartholin cyst close to near the opening of the vagina, the hospital wouldn’t do anything because it wasn’t infected just overly swollen. It had gotten so big and uncomfortable, they recommended 5 sitz baths a day! Now that’s a bit too much to keep getting in and out of the tub so I looked into this. And when I tell you it helped me so much. I only took 2 sitz baths so far and the cyst ended up popping on its own the next morning! I was so relieved. I still have the sac and it’s still swollen down there but it’s more comfortable and manageable then before. I’m going to keep taking my sitz baths and steaming to try and get it to shrink more. I wouldn’t wish this cyst on no female and to think a lot of women go through this. 🤦🏽‍♀️ Overall it was well worth the buy and not so expensive. It’s sturdy and does the job. I have prime so it came the next day as soon as I ordered it. Thanks Amazon!

This item is a bit more comfortable than other sitz baths I have used in the past, but the opening needs to be a bit wider. You have to fill it high for the water to reach you. I also did not like how it was shipped. It came unboxed in an Amazon plastic mailing bag. This is a rather unclean way to sell a person hygiene product. I advise anyone purchasing it to clean it with bleach first.

I previously had good results from soaking in the tub filled with a solution of water & sea salt. However, the amount of time to dress, hot water, and salt, made it impractical to do every day. This sitz bath is fast, and requires a fraction of the water & salt making it practical to use as frequently as desired. The soak is focused only at the targeted zone. The sitz bath is easy to keep clean, and doesn't take up too much space even with it not being foldable. Should last a long time with basic care. Extra pump sprayer offered with other brands is not needed.

I ordered this from my hospital bed after the birth my second child because the doctor recommended a sitz bath. It was the cheapest one and the reviews were good. I have elongated toilet seats in my house. This fits perfectly, the drain works great so water doesn't get anywhere but in the toilet. Along with the all natural postpartum bath crystals in a pink bag, this is a little piece of heaven during an extremely painful time. Holy cow! I look forward to my little ten minute bottom soaks. It was so cheap, I'll either keep it or trash it after I'm done. Just amazing.

See picture. This is how it sits over my standard toilet. In order for the holes in back to be positioned over the toilet, the front hole hangs over the front edge of the stool. I would have returned it, but I just had a hemorrhoidectomy and needed the relief. I had to sit down and position myself carefully to make sure that the water flow went out the back holes and not out the front onto my floor. Sometimes I failed. I think this is more made for an elongated stool. Also, my husband noted that the plastic seems flimsy. It’s okay. It got the job done but wasn’t a great fit.

TMI Alert - external hemorrhoids are perhaps not a subject of general conversation, however, they hurt pretty badly and you become very willing to try anything for relief, as you cannot even sleep with this issue goin on. (I’m under a doctor’s care) - this product is really excellent. Easy to use, sturdy for plus-sized people, fits perfectly over the American Standard toilet. Easy to clean. Inexpensive. Soothing. And, most importantly, it offers temporary relief of persistent hemorrhoids, along with my prescription topical cream, and lifestyle changes (proper diet, regular exercise, etc.).I would not hesitate to recommend this product to anyone.

I've had issues that require me to use a sitz bath, and by far this one is pretty sturdy. I even use it in the shower when I'm not feeling well enough to be on the toilet to soak. Great price and sturdy for me. Only weird thing is it came with no box, but had stickers all over it so at least I know it was knew and not used. I would recommend this
