This little book was a treasure as we prepared our visit to Mt Shasta and it continued to serve as a delightful guide while we were there. "She is one of the most sacred places on planet earth", quotes Ms Isabelle about this mountain and I agree wholeheartedly. The history, the lore, the mythology, the magic is beautifully presented in her book. Chapter 8 is a profound meditation to practice daily and on p 43 Ms Isabelle presents a Cherokee prayer that I will cherish for the rest of my life. She says: "This Cherokee prayer is recommended; "Oh Great Spirit, help me always to speak the truth quietly, to listen with an open mind when others speak, and to remember the peace that may be found in silence." I hope someday to return to Shasta with this little book in hand.

NOT A GUIDE BOOK!! This book does tell you anything about where to enjoy the spiritual places of Shasta. It is a book where the author just talks about herself. Let me add that she talks about herself and over glorifies herself way too much. There is much to found in being humble Susan. Your ego and self promotion ruined this book for me. Ohhhh then she gives a list of why you, the average person or even the very spiritual, will never be "good enough" (or basically as "amazing" as she think she is) to have a deeply spiritual experience at Mount Shasta. Someone needs to remind her we are one and all connected. She is not "better" and no she is not God!

A great read!

I have read all of Susan Isabelle's amazing books. I have had this one close by fro the last several years to help steer me thru these end times. THANK YOU SUSAN! . Susan has worked to bless this planet with light and remove from it as much of the pain and slime as she can. Her books are thrilling from her first encounter with the Mayan Elders through her current experiences with spirit guides. We are all hungering for truth, which Susan gives us, clearly and with delightful insights.

I loved this book . We visited many of the spots listed . I had such a great experience In Shasta over the weekend , this book just made it that much more special .

This is total fantasy.
