I’ve bought this before and it was perfect but on this occasion there’s a strange smell coming from motor

Having used this regularly for a couple of months - I am selling it on as on a fairly regular basis this leaks when making a smoothie. I normally use frozen spinach and soft fruit, I mix with hot water and allow to stand before blitzing, then I add yogurt. Probably fifty percent of the time on that second blitz, liquid leaks out and spatters around.I have quite a lot of strength in my hands and do do the unit up tight - but not to tight that I would break the seals .So it does make smoothies , but I would not buy one again

Purchased in January 2020. Arrived but never worked. Sent it back and received a replacement. Second product never worked. A lot of hassle trying to repack all the items into the box and head off to post office - not once but twice. I sent an email to company to make sure I wasn’t doing anything wrong but had no reply as yet. I read all instructions, tried it on several plug sockets and a,so checked fuse! Extremely disappointed as it is a super looking product.

Do not buy useless product. Should have read the reviews before buying it. Gave up on 3rd use. Burning smell coming from it and only used it to blend soft fruits like banana with yogurt. Ended up having to return the broken item and invested in an ninja instead. Amazon were great about returning the salter. The ninja is a far far better quality machine.
