Faulty battery, didn't charge in HP Elitebook 840 G4, unwanted contact from seller
Faulty battery supplied - did not charge in a HP Elitebook 840 G4 laptop and the HP Battery Check software showed the battery was indicating a failure and should be replaced. Difficult to return because most UK couriers will not transport li-ion batteries unless they are contained in an electronic device. Seller has been sending frequent unsolicited e-mails offering an additional refund to delete my negative review.

Zbook 15u battery - easy fit replacement battery CS03XL
I got this CS03XL replacement battery for my HP laptop 15u G3 . It was a straight swap and an easy change on this model. Took out the rubber covering the screws , undo all the screws with small Phillips screw driver , pull out the sd card draw on the side. I used a small flat screwdriver to prise up the case , slowly prising all away round the casing , you will hear little clicks as it comes free. A plastic prising tool would be perfect for this to wedge in between the plastic cover and metal chassis. Once the back cover is off there was just 2 small screws holding the battery down . The battery self locks in place and there were no ribbon cables to disconnect on this model . Battery did need charging , so I did this before using pc . Happy so far, will see how well it holds charge over next months.
