TOTU Wireless Bluetooth Noise Cancelling Headphones with Microphone for Smartphones

My boyfriend plays poker for a living and spends long hours at the casino. He was searching for a pair of wireless earphones that he could take with him to the casino to use while sitting at the poker table. I saw these and bought them for him. When he got them, he was super excited. They looked super awesome and he loved the colors (black and neon yellowish/green). He gave them a full charge that same day and then took them with him to the casino the following day. The first time he used them, he loved them! He said they were comfy in his ears, did not hurt at all, the volume quality was awesome, and the battery life lasted about 5 hours. For his poker tournaments, he actually needed something that lasted longer than that, but he was OK with these only being 5 hours because he knew the price was low and he did not expect them to last the usual 10-12 hours he spends at the casino. I don't know of any wireless earphones that would last that long. Anyways, long story short, he was happy with these the first time he used them, however, the second time, they only lasted 5 MINUTES before they went completely dead. He had given them a full charge so that was not the problem. He tried them for a third time (given them a full charge again) but again, they only lasted 5 MINUTES at the poker table before they died again. I went back online and checked the reviews for these and noticed that a lot of people said it was fine the first few times of use, but after that, the battery stopped working. We were really disappointed in the product, returned them within a week of purchase, and thankfully got a full refund for them. I am not sure if we received a defective product, however, we will not be purchasing this item again :(

Update: after seeing this review Totu has offered to replace or refund my defective headphones, so i have added a star to reflect their customer service as it relates to my issues with the headphonesThese headphones have a list price of 66.99, they aren't anywhere close to the quality of headphones from Sony, sienheisser, audio technica or even skullcandy at that price point, I suspect the list price is inflated to make you think your getting a deal,as I doubt they have ever sold at that price, it got them for 19 dollars and regret it. they are made of cheap plastic and CUT OUT IF YOU MOVE THEM AROUND TOO MUCH which is unacceptable, sometimes I'll be sitting at my macbook and if my hand passes in between the headphones and my mac it'll cut out. I tested it with my phone an android and it is OK but not good at all, will use at the gym as I don't really want to go through the hassle of returning them, fully expecting them to stop working once they see any kind of sweat or moisturewill be looking for better headphones in the future

I Ordered 3 of this for my boys and 2 were defective. One simply does not connect to the bluetooths, it does the routine, you hear the voice idicating bluetooth connected and it inmediatly disconnects, it just wont pair with anything. The second one has defective buttons and is dificult to turn on or off, there is no clic action. My son has found the "trick" to make it clic with difficulty. When t finally goes on it connects and disconnects but not as frecuently as the other that is useless. This one sort of works for a short while, then disconnects and reconnects. What a nuissance, it is not like this are cheap to the ppoint that one can disregard the expense.. On top of all the gift is trash. The third one I guess works, cant really tell for sure. When the younger one got it he acctually used it and liked it but since he has other headsest I will have to ask him if it still worksBetter quality control is needed, why sell stuff that is bad from the start.

I have to say that when I first opened the packaging for these I thought, "That's it?" Then I took them out and tried them on. They didn't fit...but wait. I didn't realize I had them backwards. Yes, I was fooled by a pair of earbuds. I'm happy to say I quickly figured them out, got them connected to my iPhone 6+For the initial 5 minutes (after fully charging them) that I used them, I was very happy. The earbuds are comfortable and the cord isn't a bother at all.The next time I used them (again after a full charge), the sound quality was completely different. It won't go 30 second without sounding like a scratched CD...even though I'm listening to music on iTunes. I'm less than a foot away from my music source and these things won't hold a connection AND when they do, it just skips and skips and skips...and then nothing.I would have to say BUYER BE WARE. I guess you get what you pay for. It's a shame because the majority of the reviews are so good...now it makes me question who's writing those reviews.

After looking at all the mixed reviews on Bluetooth ear buds, even high priced ones, I thought I would not spend much. These do the job, but could wish for some improvements (probably applies to competitors as well):1. Battery life is around 3-4 hours of constant use. Charge time is around 30 mins.2. I cannot charge it from an external battery pack (Vivant High Capacity Dual USB Portable Charger 15000mAh, which works well with all other items).3. Instructions work for basic setup, but are bit limited. I accidentally switched language Mandarin without any instructions to change back. I figured out that with unit on, I had to press the entire volume switch down (that is press midway between the + and - ends of the rocker switch).4. In-ear microphone can have some trouble picking up my voice. Can't see it working in noisy environment, but sufficient in car or in private area.Generally, sound quality is reasonable, but I don't intend to use extensively for music play. Again, with limited battery time, would be ok for say a workout (not my thing) or for short plane ride.Hope this helps.
