Very nice unit. My box had a lot of shipping damage. But luckily, everything inside was fine. I put it together easily by myself. It was a lot of screws. But that’s why it is such a solid unit when fully built. The metal frame was high quality. All the wood fit perfectly and assembly was easy. I only made one mistake. They included a small screwdriver with the parts. I, being the a typical guy, decided my screwdrivers must be better and started using one of my own. DON’T! The screw driver they included had a head that was designed specifically to fit ALL the screw heads in the entire kit. Use it! I was really impressed by that level of attention to detail. I’ve built a lot of these type of units and the fit for everything in this unit was exceptional. My wife was asking me why no cursing through the entire build. It was a pleasure to build something where there is no “wrong” way and every hole lined up perfectly with the screw you are trying to input into. The end result was a super solid, nice looking bookshelf, perfect for the space I needed it in.

After reading all the reviews I was slightly worried about tolerances of milling and the metalwork. Yes the instructions aren’t Ikea level but all the parts are numbered and all screws are labeled. They even give you an extra screw of every kind. As long as you look at the next image and see where the boards are going it will make sense. If you expect to just go step by step some of the boards will get reversed. Just like life look ahead before you do.Otherwise tolerances are actually all really good considering price. No issues with any of the screws. Definitely use a power drill. A screwdriver would be painful to use. Took about an hour. The screws like all these budget mass produced overseas furniture strip easy so be careful.It’s sturdy, about 70lbs I would feel fine loading it up with books and such. Looks good. Laminate overall in decent condition. Some boards have some peeling with rough cuts.Pretty solid for the price overall. Visually pleasing.

When they were delivered, they were left on a wet surface that damaged the bottom of the box. Thankfully, a thick layer of styrofoam protected the shelves.They are well made and very sturdy for something that easy to put together. I like that they aren't too tall so the top shelf can be actively used. My only complaints are, some of the pieces in the second box we're not labeled. But since I put together one already, it wasn't that big of a deal. The white metal was easier to scratch than expected. Maybe touch up paint can be included.The crazy thing is I ordered two by mistake. But the one worked so well. I decided to keep them both.

Great shelving. One of the drawer rails was installed on the wrong edge, but it was easy enough to relocate and install correctly.Measurements shown in pictures is incorrect/misleading. Spacing beloeen shelves is actually 1/2 inch less. The spacing shown includes the shelf thickness. This can make a big difference, depending if you are planning to store books that that will utilize that extra 1/2 inch height.

I installed this item all by myself. Took me 2 hrs to finish because I’m resting in between. It is very easy to install if you will follow thoroughly the installation guide. All materials and tools needed are included in the package. The item is sturdy. The wood is heavy. It looks so nice too.. Came across to this item because I’ve been long for a shelf where I can put my xbox, turntable, laptop, switch and speakers all at once, and ofcourse my main concern is a shelf that would perfectly fit for my turntable.. and so far this is the only shelf that fit my preference. I love this product. And thanks to the seller.The only I don’t like is the courier fedex who delivered this item far away from the front door. The package is very heavy and I am alone and I weigh only 98lbs. How about that? I had a hard time just because this courier is stupid.

This was easy to put together, though I made a couple of mistakes and had to disassemble what I'd done and start over. The styrofoam packing breaks apart easily, so be prepared for little pieces of foam everywhere. Love the metal stand so I can use magnets. Did have some trouble getting the drawers aligned so they would slide in. This is a sturdy bookcase, yet light enough to move. The 'feet' are made so that you can easily slide the furniture on carpeting. This was a great addition to my home office. It is a good looking piece of furniture.

I have put a lot of these things together, and these instructions can be confusing if you’re not careful. I was also missing screws, and some screws refused to screw in all the way due to the already installed “reinforced special screw”. The ones that are already installed are tightened a bit too much, so the ones you’re supposed to screw in won’t fit all the way. This left the screws sticking out. I had to hammer the screw in so that the bottom drawer piece could fit in, and the top pieces could also fit, without breaking it bending the side pieces.It looks fine, but it was frustrating having to look for replacement screws (thank goodness I keep a lot of those around from previous jobs), and MacGyvering (for those Gen X-ers) around obstacles.

Took a second person to balance some parts as I assembled it. It could have done it alone if I had brought something to prop it up 2 feet off the ground. But a second person helps to help keep seams and parts leveled as you go.After assembly, lifting it to another room was extremely satisfying. It does not wobble or tilt at all as you lift it.I used this as an audio rack. Seems perfect with lots of space for air flow so things don't get chocked up by heat.The wood is mechanically pressed wood with a veneer layer on top of the surfaces.Overall, I am extremely satisfied with the end result. No idea about longevity, but the fact I can lift it and it does not wobble is amazingly confident inducing.

Really love this cabinet it looks wonderful. Rating would be a 5 except feet were missing. Company did send some and keep in touch it took a month from the factory in China
