Very obvious factory reject
These bowls are the outcasts. The color is faded. The pattern is in the incorrect spot. Some outlet stores sell products that are factory rejects but it is not noticeable to the untrained eye. These are no where close to that. It is 100% obvious these have cosmetic quality control issues to the most untrained eye. In terms of quality of the build, they haven't chipped or broken as of yet but they have been in circulation for only 1 week. My lesson learned is that I will just pay the full price and order direct from Denby.

Pricey but Pretty!
Saw these at Macy's and fell in love with the color, weight & style (simple, clean, functional) - and since I don't need any cups or saucers, purchased just the plates & bowls I needed to replace the 30+ year old set of Noritake stoneware I had! These have washed & worn great over the past few months, no chips or cracks or signs of wear and when preheated in the oven - they've kept food nice and warm. I really like the color as it compliments all the different types of foods in color & style ... they are also easy to hang on to in terms of filling a plate and moving around the house with your hands full in a party situation (nicely balanced, easy to hold on to).

Nice addition
Took a while to get delivered but my mom loves it. It fits in with our dining set perfectly.

probably a factory second, disappointing
This bowl does not match well with my original set. The glaze is uneven and looks like a factory second.

Great Price
Checked other sites including Macy's where we purchased the origional set and Amazon was the best price by far. It was a gift and fast shipment was part of the purchasing decision and I was not disapointed.

very high price for poor quality reject bowls
Although I was charged over $60 per bowl, each was clearly a reject being sold years after the original good quality bowls were all gone. The glaze was much lighter than the two good ones I already had at home. I think the rejects which I received should have been trashed. I feel cheated.

Denby Pottery
Bought complete set of Denby to replace Pfaltzgraff. Chip resistant, oven to table, attractive and easy to find extra pieces. Have had for 5 years or more. Love it.

This was a wedding gift, very nice bowls but High priced. Shipped quickly.

I love these mugs, but these ones were chipped!
I bought extra's of these mugs as spares knowing that they can become hard to come by when the product lines change, but made the mistake of not checking all of them before putting them away. Having now opened them to use, I find 2 of them are chipped and unusable - an expensive mistake. And the price of the few remaining ones has now gone through the roof. Such a pity, as I am normally a fan of Denby and have really enjoyed using these products previously.
