Original Hits: 80s 12 / Various

I grew up in the 80's so it's no surprise that i am very into 80's music. The 80's had some of the best music ever made along with many other varieties i collect. Now it's a great addition to my collection of cd's.

I brought this because of a specific 12' mix from Go West. What I also found were a great selection of tracks I knew and others I wasn't that aware of. I've brought additional copies for friends too.

Great CD. Has lots of energy. These songs were great to dance to in the 80s, and would still be great if you could find a nightclub that played them. The beats were original and forced you out onto the dance floor.

This was a very pleasant surprise! All six cds are full of energy and well recorded/remastered. No dead songs. Not dance music.

This 6 disc set for a little more than 20 bux seems like a treasure, but almost all of these songs have appeared in nearly the same exact order on other numerous "original 80s 12" remix" compilations. However, the cheap cost makes it worth it for the few tracks unique to this collection and never before on CD. The compilation is issued on EMI, so the sound quality is clean, but clearly they've opted for the easiest to acquire mixes rather than ever risking a version collectors are still waiting to see on CD. In fact, a good number of these tracks are remixes done in the nineties!!! Loved it and you can't find this music on the radio theses daysIt reminds me of my youth growing up

I am a veteran D. J. and I collect Music on CD's from the 1980'sI am very dissapointed with this Cd collection of this 80's 12 -72 songs. All remixed in a way that kills the original songs. There are songs I never heard of before that if they were from the 80's they never made it to radio or the Clubs. In fact out of 72 songs on this CD, I liked 6. The rest is trash and I paid $23.00 for this with over night shipping. I'm keeping it because I like 6-12 inch versions of the original songs with no remixes that are very rare to find."SKIP THIS ONE". I Just orderd Grand 12- Inchs vol.7-8-9. I have the fist ones and are the best as far as 12 inch originals, Great for D.J's or just pretend your at a Club in the 80's.. A little pricey but worth it !!!!

Also ich finde die Zusammenstellung super. Es befinden sich ganz viele Mixe darauf, die man wohl so nirgends mehr bekommt. Viele Nr1 Hits aus den englischen Charts. ZB Spandau Ballet oder Orchestral Manoevers in the Dark, Human League. Die Quali finde ich gut und die Lieferung war super schnell. Ich freue mich über diese tollen CD's und schwelge jetzt erstmal in Erinnerungen.

I love the 80's so you can imagine how excited I was when I saw this on sale. Have to say it's rather good even though there is a CD in there where I didn't know any of the songs. If you loved the 80's this would be a good buy and would also trigger so very good and positive memories
