STAR WARS Jedi Dressing Gowns Bath Robes

BE AWARE OF YOUR SELLER. I ordered this for my wife for xmas, and we got an *awesome* robe from the seller "Vcos." It came from China, but quality was 100%, its well stitched, has official star wars tag at collar, material tag down the left side, length is great, material is soft and thick. Loved it so much I wanted one, so I clicked the "order again" button in the "my orders" section, not realizing it would come from a different seller this time. The second robe arrived today from a different seller, from China, and it is clearly a knock off. No tags, lighter material (both in color and weight), stitching looks like it is ready to fall apart, not nearly long enough, jedi logo is smaller and the patch looks much cheaper. If we didn't already have a great quality one sitting here to compare to, I would just assume the robe, in general, was a CPOC. But there really ARE nice ones out there. I've already requested a return/refund on the item, and have purchased another one from the "Vcos" seller instead, I hope it lives up to its predecessor.Definitely explains the varying reviews of this product, since amazon doesn't seem choosy about who supplies the product - make sure you get a quality seller and you will get a quality robe. I recommend a search for "Vcos robe" and go from there. Good luck! :-)

Pretty comfy bath robe. I am 6'1" and 200 lbs. The robe length is about mid-shin/calf, so not quite floor length, but fine, especially if you and actually buying it as a bath robe, and not as a Jedi costume accessory. I actually purchased as dual purpose - intending to use it both as a costume, and then later as an actual bath robe. I think this is better as a bath robe. For a Jedi robe, the color is just not right - it is definitely a warm tan color, rather than the darker, earthier color associated with Jedi robes. You can certainly still use it for a costume, but be aware that the color is definitely a light brown, not dark (and this is made pretty clear in the photos, so I anticipated this to be the case). I am rating this 4 stars based on it being a good bath robe. If it were purely rated as a costume piece, it would be lower.The robe itself is well constructed and definitely cushy. And very warm. The hood is nice and full. Pockets are deep and also made from the same cushy material. It does come with a waist belt.Overall, a well made product that matches the description and photos.

In short, don't buy from this seller (1stmall) they shipped me a defective item and told me it would be too expensive for me to return the item so I can have 1/2 my money back and keep the defective items even though it is ridiculously unusable.Here is the story. The robe I received was cut wrong so it is not wide enough to close all the way in the front from the waist down. There is an upside down V opening and everything from the waist down in front is exposed. You wouldn't be able to get away without wearing underwear because the robe doesn't cover your parts.The other problem is cosmetic only but the lack of quality here is just as annoying. The Jedi patch is shown in the picture to be chest high but this one was sewn on at belly level. There was obviously no quality control when this robe was made. The seller told me it would cost me much money and time to send it back to china so his solution was to refund 1/2 my money and leave me with a totally unusable robe that exposes everything in front from the waist down. Covering you when you come out of the shower or when you are not wearing anything else is the primary function of a bath robe, so this robe is totally unusable for its intended purpose and the fun factor is gone because it looks pretty ridiculous to be walking around in a Jedi robe with your dork hanging out and a Jedi patch all the way down on your belly.Too expensive to ship back is not a good enough reason to ship out defective items and force people to keep them for half the price. If I wanted a defective robe for half the price I would not have placed the order for a good robe and waited several weeks for it to be delivered. I did not like the sellers solution to keep half my money and leave me with a defective robe so I filed a report with Amazon and they took care of the problem immediately and I mean IMMEDIATELY. I have no doubt that Amazon always takes care of their customers to protect them from bad sellers like this.

Tried it on today. I'm a 5'9" guy about 200lbs with a wee bit of a gut and it fits just fine. I was a bit worried when I saw it was a Medium as I normally go for the Large size, but it should be fine. Probably 6"s of overlap between the two sides when belted. Falls over half way down my calf and with arms stretched out the cuff still comes up to my knuckles which is nice. Nice, deep hood, covers my top lip when pulled all the way forward. Not cotton, but it still feels nice and soft, so, whatever. If you are 6'+ you might want to specify a Large size if possible, but I guess they just take the top on off of the pile and ship it. Emblem is nicely done. Belt is nice and long. No loop to hang on a hook, but YOU HAVE A HOOD!Ships from China.

There is a lot of debate about this robe. It is a great robe! I am 6' and the end of the robe is at the very bottom of my calves, about 6 or 7 inches from the ground. so if you are under 5'7'' or so I wouldn't recommend this unless you don't mind it dragging on the floor. All Star Wars coolness aside, this is a comfortable robe that I have even caught my wife using sometimes! the material seems a little light if you just touch it, but when you put it around you its exactly what I would expect from a robe. It arrived on time with all pieces in the box (robe and sash). I heard some people say that it was shedding a little. I notice sometimes that sometimes a little speck of the fiber does come off when you tie the sash hard, its a soft material, so this is expected, I haven't washed it yet, maybe that would help with that. I am very satisfied with this robe and highly recommend it. May the force be with you.

Very nice product. Soft and supple, fits was good for three tall boys. The pockets were misaligned in the front is all I noticed.

It fits on the larger size. Very roomy, very soft and cozy!

Can't fault the service, very fast.Given as a gift and very much loved by the new owner, he wears it every day.It's thinner than I expected, but he tells me it is warm and cosy.Lovely soft plush fabric!I saw some complaints in other reviews about the patch, on this one the logo was embroidered directly onto the gown and is fantastic, no loose threads or anything.I was a bit worried about the sizing as my fella is an XL it is loose on him, as it must be on all Jedi's so Small to medium adults will find it very generous and warm.Supplied with an official Star Wars tag.Can't fault product or service, perfect.
