Weighs a lot - HEAVY STEEL
So this facemask will do as advertised...stop a baseball from breaking your face. My kid is 9 though and this is the only option for the Junior sized Easton helmets. It is a solid chunk of steel and is so heavy that his head and neck are getting torqued with the added weight. Easton helmets are heavy to begin with. Put this facemask on and it's like wearing a football helmet. I don't understand how Easton can't reduce the weight of this, especially at the Junior sizes -- ever heard of Aluminum?!
