FRONTLINE Oral Defense chews are specially formulated to help clean your dog’s teeth and promote a clean mouth. With a chewy texture, these tasty dental treats help scrub plaque off of your dog's teeth all the way to the gumline where dangerous plaque build-up hides. As your dog chews, the delectable heart-shaped center melts and covers the entire mouth. Use daily for a noticeably cleaner breath that comes from a whole-mouth kind of clean. Help chew the plaque away with a tasty treat everyday. After a few days of daily chews, you should notice clean breath that keeps going all day between chews. From the makers of FRONTLINE Plus, these treats are made especially for dogs and puppies six months of age or older. Give your dog one FRONTLINE Oral Defense Chew a day.

Great dental treat and is the best value for the money
Let me tell you, I've tried every dental treat on the market, having at this point had two service dogs. These ones by far are the best value for the money! Most large dental treats that you buy don't even last an entire month and you have to buy multiple bags to equal it out. It's the best value when you add up how many bags you have to buy for a large dog. It still has the features and all the other ones have. I still brush my dog's teeth every day. But this makes it to where I only have to do it once a day and it's still cheaper than having to pay for a dental treatment every year. I'm telling you when you add up the money you spend on regular dental treats it's worth the price! Plus it's nice that it has a chewy texture and a toothpaste like coating.

My fussy senior yorkie loves these!
I have a very picky 9 yr old yorkie and a 5 yr old Brussels griffon. Just had the Brussels first dental and the vet recommended doing Oravet gel or chews. I figured I’d try the chews for both the yorkie and griffon. They are about $30 for 30 single wrapped chews. They are very hard and my yorkie won’t touch them. Tried cutting in half and still not into it. The griff ate them in .2 seconds(he’s like a pug with treats and food) So I strictly give the oravet to the griff and with some research found these chews. Figured it was worth a try. They are about half the size of the oravet chew and softer. I wasn’t sure if my yorkie would take to them but he LOVES them. It’s only been about a week so I can’t speak for if they work to clean teeth but he certainly loves them for a treat that keeps him busy for 5-10mins. I should also mention he has a very sensitive stomach and these haven’t upset his tummy at all. So far a hit!

Effective and dog loves them. But benefits short lived
My Yorkie loves these Frontline dental chews. He’s approaching 13, so he has definitely entered the bad breath stage of his life. regardless of what we do, his breath could melt nose hairs at times. These chews are easy for him to chew with his sensitive teeth. they also don’t cause him any stomach issues. Only problem is the breath freshening don’t last very long. Usually a few hours if we're lucky. Less if he eats anything immediately after having a chew.

My dogs love these and they work!
These are great! My dogs love them! They get so excited when I get them out! These really help clean their mouth. My one dog had really bad breath but now that she eats one of these daily her breath doesn’t smell bad anymore. It’s so nice. We had tried everything else with her from brushing her teeth to sprays and special gels you put on their tongue and nothing worked so these are worth it just for that ! And she hated those but she loves this bone “treat” so I don’t have to fight with her to get her mouth clean! So far I’m very happy with the product. Oh and my dogs are very picky and they love this. Also they haven’t had any digestive issues with it at all which is also a plus!

White teeth that’s a YES
I never ever review things I purchase however, this totally warrants a review!! I have three small dogs, two min pins (10 pounds) and a 4 pound chihuahua. Every year I have to get their teeth cleaned due to their mouths being so tiny and plaque build up. These dental chews are nothing short of amazing !!! My girls teeth are sparkling white. I am on month two of ordering them and (due to the cost ) I do NOT give them to the girls every day ...they get them every other day. Definitely worth the purchase and a great treat for in between meals ...they are fed three times a day and usually late night snack or late afternoon snack they just love them !!! These are a must buy !!! I purchased the bag for dogs 10 pounds and under for my girls and the bones are the perfect size !!

My dog loves 'em!
They smell good, and our dog loves the flavor. We play a "Hide" game each evening. We tell him to hide, and he runs to the bedroom so he can't see out, and we can't see him. Then we hide the Frontline Dental Chew somewhere in the house. When we say "okay" he comes running out, and follows the scent until he finds the chew. Wherever it's hidden, he comes running back to us, tail wagging, and eats the chew in front of us!

Dogs loved, smell made me want to throw up.
My dogs really seem to like these. They always get super excited when I open the bag. I on the other hand will never order them again. I'm sensitive anyways to strong smells. And it was bad to start with, I'd try my best to not breathe while the bag was open. Eventually I just couldn't do it anymore. The smell would hit my nose and the urge to vomit would be intense. I don't know what it is about the smell, I think maybe it smells a bit like a semi sweet vomit? We're pretty careful about watching the dogs eat these so we've never had an issue there. They're on the smaller size even at the size I got which was made for my dog's size. I'd maybe get a size up, since it doesn't take long to get these small enough to swallow.

My dog enjoyed them but they didn't last too long
She didn't go crazy for these but she would eat them. They didn't last too long either but no treats really last long with my dog. She's a 70lb malinois/gsd mix and it's difficult to find any sort of chew that can last more than 5 minutes. One bite and these are in half already. She never seemed thrilled to eat them like she is with other brands. They smelled kind of vanilla like but not bad and are more soft and chewy compared to dentastix or greenies so there would be remnants in her teeth which kind of defeats the whole purpose of a teeth cleaning chew. They also gave her a little loose stool the whole time she ate them and I got a months worth and it didn't go away until she stopped. It wasn't full on diarrhea just a little smooth and definitely not the normal poo. My dog does have a slightly sensitive stomach so I wasn't totally surprised but she doesn't have that problem with any of the other dental chews we have tried.
