I got these socks for my partner who is a notorious sock-loser and wears them til they're full of holes. I wanted to get him something that would last, as well as be comfortable and warm for doing long lockdown walks during winter. So far they have not disappointed! When they first arrived I was really surprised at the quality and feel for the price. They're much better than any other multipack I've ever come accross. To the point I am definitely going to be investing in some for myself. My partner already refuses to wear any other socks and we'll have to make a couple more purchases to ensure he has enough. Really can't fault them. Good quality, great price and can be even doubled up so your feet are even more protected, comfy and warm (especially in hiking boots or wellies). Thank you!

Brilliant socks, kept my feet like toast in mid Jan in Poland. Been through the washer at 40c and in the drier and still kept shape and form. Just the right amount of length and elastic around the leg top. Will be ordering more for sure.

They are thick enough, strong and warm socks. They are reasonably soft as well.

Socks came well wrapped in a zipper bag and a separate washing care instruction leaflet. I take a size 9.5 size shoe and these socks fit perfectly with the heel and toe being in the right place. The label does state they are made in China but the quality is excellent and colours are well suited with a nice mix. I tend to avoid wool socks as sometimes they can feel itchy but these socks are 15% wool and are a pleasure to wear. They would go well with boots and trainers or just to wear in the evening to keep your feet warm. They come up well above the ankle and have a nice deep rib. Price at time of purchase works out at £2.39 each and would certainly recommend the socks, great service as always from Amazon on the delivery which was next day.

I bought these after reading the postive reviews however, opening the packet they absolutely stink had to put them in the washer. Thick? nope normal socks they are quite thin they keep your feet warm to a certain point. Paid less for better would not recommend these.

Dazu bringen sie mit sich, was es für super Socken braucht: Einen guten Material-Mix aus natürlichen und synthetischen Fasern, zu einem festen Faden versponnen, dicht und ergonomisch gestrickt, sowie sauber und frei von Druckstellen vernäht! Wolle (15%) sorgt für die gute Isolation gegen Kälte, Polyester (30%) hält das Garn stabil und verschleißfest, durch die Baumwolle (55%) bleiben die Füße trockener. Die aus dieser Faser hergestellten Socken hinterlassen schon auf den ersten Blick einen positiven Eindruck, der sich weiter verfestigt, wenn man sie über die Füße streift, denn einwandfreie Passform umschließt den Fuß: Ohne Falten zu werfen, ohne zu spannen schmiegen sie sich an wie ein weicher Handschuh.Erstaunlich, aber sie passen offenkundig bei unterschiedlichen Größen (bei mir Gr. 41) gleich gut. Auch bei längerem Tragen zeichnen sich die elastischen Bündchen kaum ab. Pilling ist auch nach mehrfacher Nutzung, sowohl mit als auch ohne Schuhwerk, sowie 2-maliger Maschinenwäsche im Wollwaschgang, nebst trocknen an der frischen Luft kein Thema: Farbe und Fasson bleiben erhalten (Foto nach dieser Prozedur gefertigt).Sind ihr Geld wert, diese Wintersocken, da strapazierfähig, gut verarbeitet, angenehm zu tragen, passgenau, wärmend, optisch ansprechend, pflegeleicht und mit € 2,40/Paar absolut günstig. Auch wenn sie den schon oft auf Weihnachtsmärkten angebotenen Produkten optisch ähneln mögen, qualitativ liegen Welten dazwischen!Fazit: Sehr empfehlenswert und daher ein ganz klarer Kauf!

Diese Socken erfüllen genau das, was sie beschriebt nämlich , sie halten schön warm und sehen außerdem optisch noch schön aus.

Die Socken sind sehr angenehm zu tragen, sitzen fest, sind groß genug (Schuhgröße 42).Die Wollmischung ist kuschelig und warm. Bin sehr zufrieden. Empfehlung.Preis/Leistung super günstig.Nachtrag:Der Bund ist doch zu eng, es sind dünne Gummibänder eingearbeitet. Meine Füße werden dadurch eingeschnürt, das Tragen ist auf längere Zeit etwas unangenehm. 1 Punkt Abzug. Bestimmt nichts für Diabetiker!

I think I paid $25 for a set of 5 pairs here. Two pairs of midweight Cresta merino wool socks from LLBean cost me $24 EACH.The SIMIYA are a little softer, and the LLBeans go about another 1/2" up my leg.They're equally thick/warm; if I had to say which was warmer, I'd probably have to say the SIMIYA brand.The SIMIYA are very short compared to the merino wool socks I used to have; about 1 1/4" shorter. Until I get used to the difference, they're going to keep reminding me of an ankle sock. Hasn't been an issue during the summer (I live in a basement); maybe in the winter.I'm also worried about the longevity of the SIMIYA material; they're so soft that they make my mind think "delicate" rather than "rugged." Because we tend to think of "rugged" as "uncomfortable." So we'll see, but for $5 a pair compared to the competition, even having to buy a new set every year would probably me a better return on my money.
