Mitica Marcona Almonds

I'm not a fan of regular almonds, but I can't get enough of these Marcona almonds imported from Spain. They are flatter and not as dry/hard as ordinary American almonds, with no bitterness. These particular Marcona almonds are lightly coated with sunflower oil and sea salt. That makes them messier than ordinary dry almonds, but so much more delicious. They are just like the ones I had in Spain last year. Yes, they are more expensive -- and understandably so. give your shopper special instructions. I've eaten only one - from the bottom of the WF bag. The flimsy plastic container the almonds are sold in has a lid that basically just rests on top. Container was packed on bottom of a bag. Sideways. It bent and lid popped opened. Almonds spilled into bag along with lots of oil, but I didn't realize it until the oil soaked bag had been set on the doormat, the foyer rug, and the kitchen floor. I tracked it everywhere. Weird pouring $$$ almonds from a paper bag.

I really hope what's in these besides the almonds is healthy (ish), because they're delicious. I believe they have sunflower oil, which I think is ok on Keto. My regular raw almonds have been staring at me from their mason jar, like Hey, put some salt and oil on us and we're delicious too!

My husband and I are both big fans of Marcona almonds. These are top quality and we have bought them several times, and will again.What a delicious healthy treat for snacks! yummmm...

Loved them. Only wish they came without the salt or at least much reduced. You'll be hard-pressed not to consume them in short order. I'll have to use the price and the salt as a deterrent...

Very good but a bit overpriced compared to Costco.
