Our bat houses are crafted in our small family workshop in Orlando, Florida, USA.Each house is made from 100% cedar, which has a naturally resistant to water, decay and bugs. Bat house is ready to use and comes with hardware for easy installation. Our bat houses are constructed using tongue and groove joints to prevent drafts within the house. All joints are also glued and pinned to seal and reinforce all joints. All our bat houses have a predator guard at the entrance of the house. This guard leaves a gap which is approximately 3/4” wide at the entrance to the house. This gap is the ideal size to allow bats to enter and exit the house but keep predators out and deter nuisance insects. Vents in the lower portion of the front of the house create a temperature gradient within the house so bats can stay warm at the top of the house and cool at the bottom of the house. Each Bat house measures 16 inches tall by 13 inches wide and 2.75 inches deep.

Very nice single chamber bat house.
This house is very well made and very nice. I returned it because I should have ordered a multi-chamber house. I ordered it before I researched. I found out a single chamber should be mounted on a building, and I intend to mount one on a pole, so I ordered a double chamber

LOVE THIS BAT HOUSE
This item arrived in record time! I couldn't believe I received it today. I talked my husband into getting in the mesquite tree tomorrow to hang it up. It arrived in impeccable condition and the workmanship is high quality. It is so obvious that these bat boxes are made with loving care. I cannot wait to get mine up and get some residents living in it. We already have quite a few bats flying around here at night!!!!

Great quality, definitely recommend
I was very happy to get my bat house! Looks great! Love the venting on the bottom and the cute bat logo. Even got one for my mom. Worked as the perfect gift for a nature lover/ mosquito hater. I was very thankful it came with tips on where to hang it for the best success.

Nice Cedar Bat House
The house arrived in a timely manner. Packaged well and no damage.I like the cedar construction. Has a metal eye on the top and a hole near the bottom for hanging, plus the 2 screws were included.Only been up a week so I don't yet have any "renters".Would buy it again.

Beautiful & solid construction.
Bought this house because a big brown bat has taken up residency in my horse barn. I want to encourage the bat to stay close, invite all their batty friends to move in and maintain the insect population around my barn - but not sleep on the high traffic barn door he/she has currently chosen. The construction looks solid, will provide protection from the cold winter months coming and as a bonus it has a lovely bat logo; if I were a bat I'd choose this house over a barn door that's constantly being opened/closed. It's going up just outside the barn tomorrow - in a tree that lost its top/branches in a storm last year.

Well made and works
Seems to be well made. I stained it a little darker with Thompson's water seal. Awaiting bats to take up residence. Have it up about 18 feet on the sunny side of our house. I'll add another star if bats move in. Update 8-10-21 I noticed poop on the ground below the bat house so I'm assuming we officially have residents.

So sturdy and easy to install
We had bats living in our eaves but were having our eaves replaced with aluminum. So we put up bat houses to welcome the back and added a bit of bat spray to each bat house. We’re hoping that when the weather get a bit warmer, they will return.
