Nocalc limescale twin pack replacement cartridges

I have had this item before which was fitted by a plumber. He explained how to replace it but so far we have been unable to do so. We are having to wait for Cov19 to come to a reasonable help so we can get somebody to sort it out. If there is anyone out there who help with instructions that would be great.

I already have a magnetic type softener, which works fairly well, but when I replaced the nocalc cartridge it was really good, and I have hardly any limescale showing at all,and this has not got the noisey alarm thing when it is empty. Very easy to replace.

Have been using these No Calc cartrtidges for 3 years now. I live near Swindon where the water is full of limescale and get through so many kettles you would not believe it! Although not a full scale water softening unit, these cartridges appear to lessen the amount of scaling on our appliances.

Quite simply, NoCalc does not mean no calcium build up, regardless of what the description says. We installed one, it didn't work so we cleaned it out and put in a new cartridge and after a week it was as if someone had been spraying salt water on our taps. It may soften water but it does not stop calcium build up.

Nocalc is really working, the water is clearer, and there is little evidence of lime scale around the taps and in toilet, sinks etc.I used to have the fairly big salt fed unit under the sink, when l lived in a house, but now l live in a flat Nocalc fits the bill.

NoCalc is not designed to soften water but to prevent the build up of calcium - hence it’s name. Unfortunately, however, our experience is that it doesn’t do that either. We have noticed no difference whatsoever and have also just had the system ripped out to be replaced with a softener.

This is a great product which keeps your water soft. The unit only takes up a small amount of room and the cartridges last me about six months. Ideal if you dont want a large water softener in your cuoboard
