Jennifer Shannon has an eye for antiques and a mind for solving mysteries. When she buys a storage unit at auction, she has no idea she's opening the door to murder, and realizes the killer is after something in the storage unit. Stolen diamonds, antique Teddy Bears and handsome strangers are the clues to solving the crime.

Steve Bacic joins the series as Jason...
Jen is a great leading lady, but she wouldn't be half as entertaining without her fantastic family, and her husband Jason is this incredible balance of supportive, indulgent, concerned... and trying desperately to reign in her shopping and her mystery solving. Steve Bacic nails the part, while also being a solid father, there for his kids when he needs them, without being a helicopter parents. The solid family in this series is part of what makes Garage Sale Mysteries such a delight to watch. This mystery is great fun, triggered by a storage auction... and everything crazy that can happen at a self storage center. For fans of When Calls the Heart, Kavan Smith is in this one, and by twists and turns, he shows just how entertaining he can be on screen.

A movie cozy mystery fans will enjoy!
I very much enjoyed this second movie in the Garage Sales Mysteries starring Lori Loughlin. I found it to be a great follow up to the first movie.About the movie:In ALL THAT GLITTERS, protagonist Jennifer Shannon (Loughlin) is back and looking for bargains to sell in her re-sale shop she runs with partner, Danielle (Sara Strange). This time, Jennifer has her sights set on storage units to find her treasures, and she finds more than she bargained for. When a murder takes place, Jennifer hunts done the clues and connects the murder with something from the storage unit she purchased. But what?My Thoughts:ALL THAT GLITTERS was just as entertaining as the first movie in this series, simply entitled, GARAGE SALE MYSTERY. I liked the character of Jennifer Shannon as much as I did in the first movie. She’s a little know-it-ally, but then she can’t help it if she’s clever. I also really liked her quirky business partner, Danielle in the first movie. But I don’t like the way that had her acting in this movie. In movie one I really got the feeling that she is a strong woman, but in ALL THAT GLITTERS I they took some of that away from her. I know they did it to fit the story, but I was disappointed. I hope they have her back to her normal spunky self in the next movie (which is already out, but I don’t get the Hallmark Movies & Mysteries channel and it isn’t available on DVD).I think the mystery played out well. While I had some of it figured out, parts of it surprised me. There was more than one mystery going on, but they were intertwined during Jennifer’s investigation. Of course, it all becomes clear by the end of the movie, and made for a satisfying conclusion. Also, like the in the first movie, at the end of ALL THAT GLITTERS, Jennifer manages to do something wonderful for a character that has less than a minor role. The cast:Lori Loughlin is great in the role of Jennifer. I really like the way she plays the role. The actor who plays Jennifer’s husband, Jason, has a new actor in the role, Steve Bacic, replacing actor Rick Ravenello. I have to say, I didn’t care for Bacic’s portrayal. But I’ll have to get use to him, since he is still playing the role in upcoming installments. Sarah Strange is back in the role of, Danielle aka Dani. She’s perfect in the part, as long as they keep her true to character.ALL THAT GLITTERS is a movie cozy mystery fans will enjoy for sure. If you don’t get the Hallmark Movies & Mysteries channel, consider purchasing the DVDs available, or speak to your library about getting them.

Fun story with a cute subplot
Entertaining semi-comical mystery with likable characters, except the big husband and the big detective are so negative all the time to the main character, they get annoying.

Love Garage Sale Mystery!
This was the first movie of the series that I watched and loved the movie. The characters are quirky, funny and the mystery was well written. I found some surprises! Can't wait to watch more.

An enjoyable, viewer-friendly film
I'm usually more of a shoot-em-up, action/adventure movie goer but now and then I really enjoy something lighter in tone and a little frothy. And no one does that better, really, than Hallmark."Garage Sale Mystery: All That Glitters" is characteristic of the kinds of films that my mom would have classified as "nice."It's not heavy handed: The heroine is not a teen scream queen (in fact, she has a loving husband and a teenage son); the villain is evil but you don't see much of that on screen; the detective in this murder mystery is competent, not hardcore or, conversely, buffoonish. The plot is fairly standard: Mom has a small second-hand antique business and one day she finds herself embroiled in a homicide case because she saw a man get into a violent argument with the victim. Despite the fact that both her husband and the detective - a friend of the family - warn her not to get involved, she does. To add a little depth to the film there are also stolen diamonds, an adulterous affair, buried treasure, and a romance woven into the narrative, which makes it interesting. Is it altogether believable? No.Did I expect it to be?No.What it is, however, is a viewer-friendly film: It doesn't ask you to think too deeply about hidden messages, the cast is attractive, and it moves along at a nice steady pace. There are some red herrings in the narrative that add a little additional mystery to the film but you can probably see through them without too much difficulty. The verdict: An enjoyable movie that will let your mind de-stress while you watch it with a glass of wine and - preferably - some chocolates.

Good entertainment
We found this movie in the Garage Sale Mystery series to be interesting and entertaining. I'm glad I found it for sale on amazon.ca. The acting was good and it was fairly easy to follow the storyline. The only criticism I have is that the first half of the movie seemed slow, with everything coming together in a rather rushed way at the end. Violence was kept to a minimum, there was no sex and no bad language, which we appreciated. It was a compelling story and we'll watch it again in the future. I would recommend it for teens and adults.

Waiting eagerly for more!
"All That Glitters" is as enjoyable as the first Garage Sale Mystery was. Jen finds a body, her son finds a Pirate treasure map, and her partner, Danielle, finds the "Man of her Dreams" or does she? I'm really enjoying these Hallmark Mystery movies. I look forward to the Garage Sale Mysteries, The Deadly Room and The Wedding Dress coming to DVD.
