Some assembly out of the box. You'll want to make sure you have a good machinist square to get the fence dialed in. Outfeed and infeed are pretty short, but were set perfectly out of the box. You may need to make accommodations if you want to joint anything longer than 4-5 feet. If you don't have dust collection you'll need to stay on top of dust chute accumulation, clearing it every couple of boards. Blade guard WILL contact the knifes during operation with even slight pressure on the top of it, so definitely avoid that. All that being said, I've been using mine for a few months now, and, after some reasonable accomodations and minor adjustments, it functions perfectly well. Worth the price.

Very well made planner good finish and paint on machine. Ran about 400 feet of board not a problem. Chips do build up if you don’t use vacuum attachment a wipe of small stick clears chamber.

Good jointer and used it for several projects if working on a budget or dont have the space for a full size one. It cut well and was easy to use. The issue i had which might have been user error but i lost power to it and idk if i let too much sawdust built up or if running the traeger or something else messed it up. It happened after owning it for a few years. Id still recommend it (i think i did something wrong to cause my issue)

This is my first jointer, so I don't have much to compare it to. The build quality is great, doesn't feel cheap. The dust collection is excellent! I just use a shop vac / cyclone combo for dust collection, and I needed to get an adapter to make it fit a shop vac hose, but I couldn't even see any dust in the air while using it. As a test, I jointed the face of a badly cupped 2x6. It didn't seem to have any problem with powering through all 6 inches of width, and after several passes it was perfectly flat and smooth. I am happy with the purchase!

I work on a lot of smaller projects (cutting boards, serving tray,s etc.) and this jointer has changed my life. It allows me to use wood I thought I would never use. I can make designs I never dreamed of before. It's easy to use. The set-up was a breeze. They say it takes an hour to set up; it's more like 15 minutes. Squaring it up was not a problem. It just does a great job. I'm sorry I waited so long to get one. If you have large projects this might not be for you, but for smaller jobs (up to six inches wide) it can't be beat. It's not heavy so can be moved around with ease.

I have purchased and used CRAFTSMAN tools for a long time. This was my first CRAFTSMAN machine. I purchased the Benchtop Jointer from CRAFTSMAN because it was highly reviewed and I'd had great success with CRAFTSMAN tools in the past. This experience has been awful. Four (4) screws were missing from the package, so I could not assemble the machine. After multiple contacts (chat, calls, emails) and providing much information to CRAFTSMAN I'm told to "contact the company you purchased it from". All Amazon did was offer to replace the whole package if I packed it all up and shipped it back, taking up a lot more of my time and effort. All for 4 screws that ended up costing me $1.50 at Tractor Supply. Additionally, the assembly instructions are poor and incomplete. I happen to be a draftsman and engineer so I do know how to read drawings. While the table and base appear substantial, the dust collecting parts are flimsy. I would not purchase this again from CRAFTSMAN. I may use their wrenches but not their machines. Their customer service folk seem nice but the corporate machine is not. Makes me wonder what the future holds if I need parts.

The manual says allow an hour to assemble. I believe it based on the poor instructions and the fact that some of the bolts are in the parts bag and some are partially screwed in the product (would have been nice had the instructions just said where to find them). Saved by YouTube. Took 15 minutes to put together with decent instructions. It works pretty well given the price. It could be bolted to the table but so far it is heavy enough that it isn't needed. Dust collection is so-so. I have it connected (via adapters) to a strong Jet cyclone 4” system. Plenty of dust around and the machine had fiber plugs that I vacuumed out. Still for the price this is a reasonable system.

as long as you know the product specifications since it was not mentioned it is 110 V not UAE version 240 V and you have the converter . I gave the 5 star for 1/ money value 2/ fast delivery 3/ condition exactly as described so happy with the purchase

Lo compré a un super precio, ya lo estoy usando; el único inconveniente (de antemano previsible) consiste en la fragilidad de sus planchas de trabajo, dado que son de aluminio y tienen la fragilidad propia de dicho material, por lo que se rayaron desde el primer uso con lo áspero de la madera. Sin embargo todas las cantadoras tienen planchas de aluminio. Por lo que las cubriré con sendas láminas de 1mm. De acero inoxidable fijado a las planchas y asunto arreglado. Por lo demás estoy muy satisfecho con la adquisición me ahorra innumerables horas de trabajo y además con excelentes resultados. La máquina es de velocidad variable, bastante silenciosa y no vibra ni se esfuerza al cepillar. SÍ LA RECOMIENDO.

Gostei muito, praticidade no transporte,no cliente para trabalhar a desempenadeira é bem útil facilita bem as dificuldades que tinha para o trabalho fora da marcenaria.! 👍🏻

Pues tiempo de envío bien..... Ya viene lista para usarse después de q calibres la guía..... El problema es q después de dos usadas ya no ensendio así q la regrese.... Raro tengo varias herramientas Craftsman y todas son muy útiles ...iba a comprarla de nuevo, ............y la compré...... Y después a funcionado perfectamente bien por varios años
