I bought this to try and relieve some muscle and nerve pain in my back and legs after exercising. It's narrow (?), if that is the correct term for a cylinder. I think I was looking for more of a foam roller or something much larger.

The FomiLomi, works great. Its just stiff enough that it can put some very direct pressure on a small tight spot with the corner, and soft enough to comfortably roll out the spine. When traveling I can stash my other smaller tools inside it and it hardly takes up any space.

purchased 2nd roller for office. I'm hoping to use it not only for soreness but some exercise too. time to get in shape, my muscles are going to need this tool

Be aware that this roller is actually 5-1/2" in diameter, not 4.

Hard and gets all the kinks

What an impressive addition the "Fomilomi" has been to my daily search for relief of the nagging pains of middle aged person! I love the size and firmness of this roller. I also love the hollow core because I plan to connect it to my pack when I hike and camp in the future. This is just what I've always wished for after waking up in a tent (other than my own bed!). I appreciated the fast delivery and the exercise sheet that came with it.
