Your browser does not support HTML5 video.  Bought this drone for a surprise Christmas present for my 10 year old daughter .Its been a big hit , easy to fly after a little practice , three batteries so you can always have one ready to go when it is time to swap the battery in the drone . The fans are completely protected from being damaged by the inevitable crashed while learning to navigate as they are surrounded by protection . I have enjoyed the drone as much as my daugter , it is very satisfying to fly and we are considering building some kind of assault course to better hone our skills . there are three speed settings and the drone also comes with spare propellers .Highly recommended purchase , you cant go wrong .

Well, where to begin for this product? Firstly, I should point out that I have owned and tested many drones in my career and this is one of the best flying drones I have tested and really excels for the money.Setup - Easy unboxing and setup, good quality english instructions included. The box comes with two charging cables and three batteries which is outstanding for long flight times. You can be flying one battery and charging 2 others. Charge time seems to be around the 20 -30 minute mark so you will be flying in no time.The controller requires batteries not included so just be aware there. The controller itself seems robust and has a number of extra buttons and features which I will go into in the next section. It was comfortable to hold and use.First flight - The drone itself is incredibly stable in the air. In a room with still air, it will hover practically motionless in the space within the room. but you NEED TO TRIM IT. This is the balancing of the aircraft and should be done every time you change the battery as the batteries have slightly shifted weight values. Also after a heavy crash, the battery can sometimes shift around so make sure you trim the aircraft to level hover before flying it around to make the flight easier. This is achieved through the buttons on the controller and the instructions to do this are clear.The flight characteristics are excellent. Highly responsive 3D flight and three different speed limits so once you get more praqcticed you can make the controller inputs more sensitive.The propellers are completely encased within a cage. This makes the drone practically indestructable in normal flight. The only two exceptions to this rule are the drone being squashed by something heavy, or thin fibres that can reach through the cage (in practice this means long hair) I had several full speed crashes into walls and other solid objects and the drone was completely unharmed by everything I could throw at it.If you do crash, you will need to reset the drone by placing the drone on a flat surface and moving both control sticks down and to the left and holding for 2 seconds there. The drone will beep and flash and you can fly again. This becomes very natural after a while and allows the drone to reset its sensors between heavy landings.Top tips: You can throw the drone and it will auto hover. In practice, you need to get a couple things right before you chuck it but the feature is very good and impressive to watchers. Follow these steps.1. take off normally and trim for normal hover.2 . Land on a flat surface by pressing the land button.3. the drone is now trimmed and ready for a throw launch.4. Place the drone flat on your palm and gently loft it into the air in front of you. Try to keep it from tumbling if you can.5- the drone will auto-sense the gentle throw and stabilise and hover in the air.6 - I have had the drone hover badly if I just turn it on and chuck it. I believe it needs to be trimmed nicely and landed once before it is comfortable to hover from a throw. From then you can just land and throw until you get a bad landing, then I would go through the steps again.So would I recommend this drone? I am completely amazed at the stability, speed and FUN this drone provided. It is easily the best mini drone I have seen and I have owned many from far more expensive competitors. I have crashed and crashed it and the thing is practically invincible. And with three batteries included, you can fly all day as you charge up the two you are not using.For the price this drone is you cannot go wrong. What a perfect christmas present at a great price point.HIGHLY recommended.

My daughter loved it. this drone is one of the favourite toy of her. All my family like to play with it not only my daughter. I strongly recommend it for indoor play for kids and adults as well.

Out if the box, it did take a few goes to get the flight contol fluent, a little bit of calibration of the joystick, but that's all in the manual, after a few goes, to master the controls, it's so easy to fly,We keep it on the default of slow, which is fast enough so it doesnt go zooming off. Up down left or right, very responsive,The battery does last, maybe 4 to 5 minutes though it so much fun to fly it does seem shorter. 3 batteries keeps it running, though I do find fitting the batteries is a bit fiddly, due to the tight space of the battery compartment and the power input so close to it. That's about all I would change, just to make the power input more easily accessible.The are 2 chargers with 3 wires so you can charge 2 and play with them, generally I didnt have to wait for them to charge before my son needed to change the battery, he played for around 20min, before wanting to take a break, although by that time all batteries needed charging. It blinks when a battery needs changing, but despite running what I thought was flat, actually ran for around another 2 min.I think with all these 45min charge to 5 min flight time doesnt seem worth it, but, spread this across 3 batteries, and dispite the fiddleness of the battery power input on the drone, it's so much fun to fly, it's worth it.I wouldnt be confident him taking out doors, despite the return to home, which didnt seem to work well on ours, but I think I didnt set this up, but for indoors its really good.The flips or stunts it does is pretty cool, push in on the joystick and push in the direction and it does a barrel roll.I would recommend this toy, on the basis of how much fun, and easy to control it is. Thinking of getting another so we can race and do stunts together. It's pretty cool and looks and plays really well. My son hasnt put it down much.
