Sturdy & Elegant
These plates are hands down better than white plastic plates. They are sturdy and elegant. I used them for hosting a bridal shower and received such favorable comments, I will definitely purchase these again for parties.

Second Purchase
I have used these for a few years for gatherings and find they will hold a large amount of food with no leakage or bending. I have served cookies on them and have lightly rinsed & they still hold up. They are attractive and I have the 6" plates to use for deserts and/or salads. Very nice plates.

High quality, strong and very attractive
The cost reflects the quality which is the only drawback. They do fine in the microwave for frozen pizzas. They are good, too, for feeding my dogs if it home cooking. The design is very nice.

Great for special occasions!
Bought these when hosting my family for Thanksgiving. The style and presentation was fantastic and they were worthy of a special occasion. Only downside is that they are do not hold up in the microwave. The moisture created in the microwave seeps through the bottom of the plate and is very messy. Overall I will absolutely be using them for all special occasions, but not a daily use plate.

I’ve NEVER used “paper” products at a dinner party.
However! Due to mobility issues, I was forced to simplify this summer. We had planned for a dinner party for eight on our patio. I ordered the plates and salad/dessert plate and Hunter green napkins. The “dishes” don’t look or feel like paper. They are restaurant grade and perfect. Due to an unexpected weather change we had to have the party in our formal dining room. I didn’t use China. I used these “Compostable paper” dishes. I used each atop a cream-colored Chargers from the Loire Valley of France. Everyone raved. It certainly simplified cleanup—- the weather changed, and we had dessert on the patio under the moon and tiki torches.
