An excellent watch and conversation piece.
Pros:Excellent quartz movement. Not the very best but the middle ground.I set the watch and it remains on time +/- a couple of seconds. I own a coupleof mechanical movement watches and they are excellent watches but requireservicing every 5 years or so. This can get costly as the years go by hencemy going with a quartz movement this time around.The dial is large and numerals are easily read. The luminescence ofthe numbers and hands is the best of any watch I own. No matter whattime of night I can read the time in the dark easily.The day and date are not illuminated but this is a non-issue for me. The day and dateare easily read although the date could be a tad bigger.The engineering of Laco 1925 watches is legendary and this watch is no exception.The lines are consistent, surface is a dull or brushed stainless steel and retainsthe original military look. Simply put a well made watch.The watch band is thick and of very high quality. Well it may be stiff it will break inover time.I purchased this watch through Long Island watch and an very happy with the professionalservice I received. Questions I had about the watch were answered almost immediately by the ownerhimself and certainly helped sway my decision to purchase from Long Island Watch. Shipment was promptand the item was package with all Laco 1925 material and case. I received the watch within 3 days of ordering itand plan on buying another watch from this seller.Cons: Only one and it is minor. The watch band is for average width wrists. I have largewrists and ended up moving the strap buckle to its furthest hole.Laco/1925 does offer a Bomber Jacket Extension #Laco-Loop-L watch band which is longer and designedto be worn over a flight suit or leather bomber jacket. I plan on purchasing this at a later time. For the time beingI put a Marathon leather NATO band on the watch which is 10" long and fits my wrist nicely. It isa high quality band available though Amazon.com as well. The NATO band looks fantastic andreally makes the Laco 1925 stand out. I have received a few compliments on the watch since Ireceived it.Overall: Excellent watch for the money. I am so far very happy with my purchase.

I love everything about it.
First of all I just want to say this watch is unique. I cannot begin to count how many people really notice it. I get compliments all the time. It is one of those watches that you really won't ever see anyone else with so people always ask about it.Probably the first thing you will notice when you unzip the case it comes in is just how thick and nice the band is. It is genuine leather and it feels very durable. It is pretty stiff at first so it will need broken in. But when it is broken in it is very comfortable. I will say that the band was a bit loose for me so I did have to get a hole punched in it to tighten it. I took it to a local jeweler and they did it no problem. Overall the band is very nice and once it is broken in it is very comfortable.Now comes my favorite part of the watch. Its face. Actually it is how it glows in the dark. It glows so brightly and so clearly. I have never had a watch that illuminated like this one. The best part about it is that it stays lit for a long time. The numbers start to fad eventually but the hands stay lit for quite a while. I have woken up in the middle of the night and checked the time on it after hours of being in the dark.It also is pretty accurate. I haven't had to fix the time yet on it.Overall I just really love this watch. I love the way it fits my wrist, I love way it glows in the dark, and I love how it looks.I love everything about it.Do yourself or someone else the favor. I promise you won't regret it. I sure don't.

Nice enough quartz German Type B flieger watch
Nice enough quartz German Type B flieger watch. Dial is large and easy to read, and the lume is bright. Day feature is interesting in that it is in German, which is a nice touch. That said, I ended up returning because it was too large for my 6.5" wrist, both in terms of face and strap size. While face size is a matter of individual taste, the strap did not have enough holes; watch was still loose when fastened at the innermost hole on the strap. Also, the second hand's quartz movement did not line up with the indices.

Sehr gute Uhr der Firma Laco
Bei der Suche nach einem gut gelungenem Nachbau - im verkleinertem Format - einer Baumuster-Uhr Typ B kann man diese Uhr der Firma Laco ohne Bedenken kaufen.Mir gefällt besonders die Ganggenauigkeit des Quarzwerkes. Seit der Inbetriebnahme am 01.12.2020 geht sie nunmehr gerade einmal 2 Sekunden nach.Besonders die sehr gute Nachtablesbarkeit des im Ziffernblatt eingebrachten Leuchtmittels, verbunden mit den ebenfalls bestrichenen Stunden-, Minuten- und Sekundenzeigers habe ich bisher bei keiner anderen Uhr erlebt.Diese Uhr ist, nach meinem Dafürhalten bestens geeignet für die Berufsgruppen der Polizei, Militär und andere Einheiten mit Sicherheitsaufgaben.

Art timepiece
Great timepiece, classic and sporty at the same time, it really stands off. One thing though, it is a bit smaller in diameter than I expected. If you have thick wrists or bigger arms, it might look a bit small for you. However, it might be that I usually like watches with bigger case diameter. Next purchase, in the future, will be liepzig or some other. I really loved this watch.

Cool Watch
This watch is very nice! A line up issue with the second hand and the markings on the watch face but it’s very minor and doesn’t really affect anything other than visually. The markings glow throughout the night which is very cool!

Super Teil, sehr schöne Zeigerdarstellung. Wenn man sich für eine Laco entscheiden sollte gleich mit bestellen. Ich hatte mir neben der Zürich auch die Erfurt bestellt, weil diese ein Saphirglas hatte.Letztlich bin ich bei der Zürich geblieben
